The good. Liked this when searching because it doesn’t have molle all over the outside. Build quality appears good, for what is there (read further). No loose seams or threads. There is light, ~1/4 inch, padding in the side and center panels. Now the bad. Says 36 inch will hold 36 inches. Nope, maxes out at 34-3/8. You could likely squeeze a longer item in but it would be tight up against the muzzle and butt. The big issue is there is zero padding in the rim. There are no pockets for the butt at muzzle. I knew about the lack of pockets when purchased but, the inaccuratly noted size prevents me from having the room to provide my own solution. A longer size would give some wiggle room but, would also be more cumbersome. Good idea, seems well made; poorly thought out. A shorter rifle would work and allow missing features to be improvised.

For the money spent, this is a great purchase. I’m not sure why some day that it doesn’t have enough padding. It’s fine. This is a soft, stealth rifle case with additional storage. My only complaint is that the inside velcro straps were too short, forcing me to link them together. That aside, it’s very functional; has concealed backpack straps.
