OK, I bought this even though it had no reviews yet, so I am the guinea pig.
I like the fact that it starts up and is ready to go, if you like the reading in meters per second.
Then the programming fun begins. The instructions need further translation as the diction is difficult to comprehend.
Some directions do not apply to this product, it seems. For example, there are no audio “beeps” present when pushing the function button as stated in the text.
OK, now it gets kinda hairy. To get the readings on your phone, you have to disconnect from your home router.
After discovering this phenomenon, I was able to get the display on my phone! For example, 8.8.8.8 sends you to a Google public domain, not to the Crony’s display.
It would be a whole lot simpler and easier if it used Bluetooth technology instead of Wi-Fi!!!
If they did that, I would give it 5 stars.
