   Glass is good and seems well built overall. Eye relief is pretty good for a scope, just don’t expect it to be like a red dot, probably 2-3 inches. Illumination is not daylight bright but is daylight visible in most conditions. We will see how it holds up. **EDIT** Shake awake feature is ok but you really have to shake it. Auto off is nice though so you don’t forget it on. It “sleeps” after 10 minutes without motion and then turns off completely after 1 hour without motion. It can wake up with a few vigorous shakes within that 1 hour.

   I have had issues. Functionality : Optic did make it through an average range day of 250 rds of 147 grain 9mm.
   Nice size. The weight was decent. Easy to install. I may have just gotten a bad optic, so your mileage may vary. The lens was clear and again if it would have held zero it would have been great. Plus I never got a refund.

   Well made, clear glass, seems bright enough for daytime use but haven’t tried it yet. Windage and elevation moved very well when I bore sighted it in. The shake awake works only within a couple of hours. Left it on overnight but did not illuminate next morning when I picked up the rifle. Not to concerned as this is on an M&P 15-22 for training. I have Primary Arms 3X prisms on my 556 so having this Monstrum on my M&P 15-22 makes me still practice with lower cost 22 ammo. The DX1 reticle is very nice.
   Eye relief is ok, about 3 inches, took one star off for the slake awake not being true shake awake.

   Edit- Seems that the shake awake does work after testing overnight. Goes to sleep in about 5 minutes with no movement.

   BDC reticle, which is almost impossible to find, (got lucky).
   Over 1000 rds, 157 gr. loads
   NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER.
   if I can find another one with the BDC reticle,
   I’m going to buy it for an AR build

   Out of the box it has a nice weight to it and the illumination is perfect for me. In daylight it glows well but doesn’t fracture out. Eye relief could be better. Had to set it back further on the rifle than I am use to. As long as it holds zero I will be buying many more.

   I was using a 1x and love it. Slapped this on and also love it. Good eye relief and great lenses. 3 shots to zero. Put the 1X on my S & W FPC and eye relief is perfect. Have the Monstrum front mount 2X magnifier coming to get longer shots with my FPC. Keep up the good work. Prices and quality can’t be beat. USA made and lifetime warranty.

   Unit is well built and seems to hold zero just fine. Main reason I bought this is the price for a 3X with “shake awake” function. The shake awake part seems to work for the most part, I leave it on and beside the bed. It doesn’t seem to be as sensitive as other brands I’ve used, but if I handle the AR as normal and not try to “test” the system, it comes on as advertised.
