Crisp, clear reticle. Nicely machined and has the shake-awake features that higher end dots have. I have some very expensive optics and scopes and I’m really impressed with the quality of this optic. You won’t find anything else like this in its price range. For the longest time, the best budget red dot, for maybe a good 10 years in this price range was the TRS25. I think this surpasses it by far. Very impressed.

This thing is impressive it’s not to $300 lights some of the other similar sights, and it works great the auto off feature is wonderful my other scope I leave it on all the time and have to replace the battery almost every time I go out for the range. This thing shuts itself off it doesn’t come back on until you pick it up. I wonder why everybody else doesn’t do this they have to be in with the battery companies!! This thing has a 40,000 hour battery life don’t know how true that is but I haven’t had to replace it yet. I like it it’s worth it, good quality, seems very durable no complaints… Buy one!

I’ve now bought two of these CVLIFE optics – and I can directly compare them to my pair of functionally similar SIG-Sauer Romeo5 which appears to have had a significant influence on their design. Thus far, the CVLIFE JackalHowl Red Dot Sight 1×20 2 MOA motion-awake red dot sights have been reliable and perfectly easy to use, at a sale price that is 1/3 of the sale price of the originals. I note that the CVLIFE optics’ red dots perhaps “bleed” a bit more than those of the SIG-Sauers. I have not (but should have) directly compared the two brands light transmission, however: all I can say is that the CVLIFE products have allowed functional usage out to 200 yards. Motion-awake works perfectly, as does go-to-sleep. Brightness settings allow easy usage under the arc-lamp sun of the New Mexico high desert. I’m not arguing that this is a product you should utilize for serious business, but for plinking around? Why pay more?

I’ve used CVLIFE stuff before and had very good results, and, I got these with a discount coupon, mostly because they’re shake awake. Dot is visible and bright, shake awake works perfectly. No chance to actually try it in the field as of yet (hence the 4 rating), but I’m sure it’ll be wonderful,

Bought for a AR pistol build that I was doing for the least amount I could. The motion sensor works great and I didn’t have to give money to the crap company Bushnell. Seems better built than a TRS25 and features motion sensor.
