   Right out of the box you can feel the quality of the scope. It was already in the rings which was also convenient. The rings are meh…good enough but could be better. The IR blaster is ok but recommend the upgrade. For whatever reason the mounting ring for the IR blaster was too big. I will be contacting ATN about that but no huge deal because I bought the upgrade. The scope interface is crisp, the clarity is good for the price. The entire set up is a little heavy but again good value here. You can’t compare this to a $2,000 option.

   I had a friend recommended this scope and the reviews were mostly good, so I gave it a try. I followed all the instructions a T. In the end, its junk. The IR light didn’t work out of the box (known issues). The night vision sucks. I wasted $20+ in ammo trying to zero it in, which may be partially my own fault but not entirely. I also now have $20 worth of micro sd cards I don’t really need anymore because I’m returning it. The worst part is the scope locks up constantly and it wasn’t a firmware issue. For $500 I didn’t expect greatness, but I did expect it to function. It did not pass muster.

   I have to tweak and turn the focus circular knob that the whole scope turns in the scope holder. I wish I had tested this right after I purchased this so I could return/replace it. It crushes my fingers to turn it at all.
