I had heard a ton of good things about the dryfiremag system, but I never was able to get it to work with my Glock 19. The dryfiremag itself worked well and reasonably approximated my trigger pull, but the laser would not consistently fire with trigger pulls.

When I attempted to adjust the timing of the laser fire, I found the set screw on the mag was missing. I contacted Dryfiremag for support, and got a rather cursory reply to just return it to ngclab.com. I originally intended to exchange the item for a working one, but I’m now leaning toward just returning it and spending the money on another dryfire training system.

There is not a lot to say here. Everything worked like a charm, out of the box. No instructions needed, no learning curve. And it has never malfunctioned. Also, works perfectly with MantisX Elite and Laser Academy, though I have had some issues with MantisX not being able to sense trigger pulls sometimes. Mantis support has worked diligently to try to correct. But the DryFireMag and accompanying laser – – perfect.
