   I am going to break this down into separate items. Pants and jacket- as good as the Army issued BDU’s I had. I actually think these were made on contract machinery for some armed forces. The labels look like the usual labels on official army issue. Hat a decent cheap baseball cap. Gloves very poor fit . Balaclava great fit and excellent match of camo to the pants and jacket.

   As title suggests, surplus pricing for new product. I will clarify that this is repro though. Size will run a little small, so get one size up; 2 size up if you’re more muscular or big boned for the top. Material for top and bottom feel decent, likely to last a while unless you plan to play slip and slide everywhere. Balaclava is a good breathable material, and flap folds down easily. Gloves matched the clothing size, but will be a little smaller than expected. Cap is basic. Great deal for a starter set though!

   All items feel like decent quality. The fit was a little tight on the jacket (Large, 5′-9″, 170 lbs) But, not so much that you would really notice after more use. LOTS of pockets between the jacket and pants. I like the velcro “pads” on the hat so you can stick patches, etc. to either the front or back of the hat. I am not too happy with all the pockets being velcro close, as past experience shows that over time that can wear out, but not a big enough negative to make me not like the outfit overall.

   This camo set provides a lot for the money. Included are a jacket, pants, gloves, hat, and balaclava. The material is initially a bit stiff but softens with use. It is a rip stop design which is helpful if you happen to be in the woods where your clothes could potentially be snagged and torn. The clothing in this set fits to size.

   The button fly BDU pants have tons of storage and fairly deep pockets. They are well designed. The light jacket/heavy shirt is equally well designed with a Velcro closure on the semi-turtleneck collar, multiple pockets, epaulets, and Velcro points where patches can be attached if so desired. This set would probably be good for paintball warriors or perhaps hunters. As for me, BDUs are comfortable for hanging out, going to the store, or yard work. Again, well designed, well made, and a lot of items for the money in this clothing set.

   SO I really wanted to like this set. I am prior military and am not the biggest fan of the normal military material. The pants in this suit are made pretty well and fit good. They are maybe a little smaller than the sizing suggests, but pretty close. The baclava is nice and well made. The gloves are nice too, if a little light weight. The hat is where things start breaking down for me. it is super cheap and small and does not fit the set. The shirt is made of nice material and the main reason I got the set, but it was very disappointing for me because it is so small. It kinda fits like an underarmor shirt only even more tight, so I was disappointed. It did arrive quickly and was packaged well.
