I ordered this as a backup for my Magpul MOE bi-pod (which I use form my S&W M&P15), or in case I got a second rifle that could use a bi-pod. This CVLIFE is very sturdy/durable as it includes a lot more metal components than the Magpul bi-pod. However, this also makes it a little heavier. For example, this CVLIFE bi-pod weighs 15.3 ounces, while my Magpul is only 8.3 ounces (not a huge deal, but worth mentioning). This CVLIFE is also highly adjustable (5 leg positions, 5 height adjustments, and even an adjustable pivot head). All good things for a bipod. I especially like that, when extended, the legs automatically pull back with a click of a button — well, two buttons, really, or one per leg (rather than having to do it manually). On the Magpul everything has to be done manually. All for about $20 less than the Magpul Bipod. Really, the only drawback to this over the Magpul is the weight. So if that is a major concern for you then Magpul may be the way to go (but, again, Magpul has more plastic which may not be as durable… and it also costs a little more).

This U.S.A. company gets it concerning excellent design, and quality materials ensuring lasting durability. I was happy to see their products regularly populate my Vine feed. When a product shows up that I can use, I don’t hesitate to place my order. I have not been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered thus far. Exceptional quality control. Backpacks, range bags, shooting scopes, mounts, and various other products have all been well thought out in design and function. This bipod is feature-rich and stable. All functions work great.

I’m not really all that picky when it comes to bi pods. In truth they don’t have to do all that much but this is a really nice one. “Almost” top end but probably a much better bang/buck than top end.
It attaches/unattached really quick. It has a simple clamp to attach to the sling eye. A nice grip and you simply turn a knob to snug it up to the stock. Again a nice firm snug that doesn’t wiggle. The swivels good. The legs deploy with a pull push motion into 5 different positions. That’s a first for me. I’ve only ever needed one spot (straight down) for my legs. The leg extensions are a simple pull with kind of a loud position click… that’s fine though. They’re spring loaded so retraction is just a push of a button.
