   It arrived in a small box, and I had 2nd thoughts about it. However, I gave it a shot – no pun intended. It was well packed and undamaged. It was quick and easy to assemble. It holds shotguns and modern sporting rifles without issue. Rifles with bolts will touch unless you store with the bolts open. The pistol rack is worthless. Instead, purchased black plastic trays to fit on the shelves.

   I ended up buy a 2nd one as it is cheap storage for the rifles.

   It’s a great product even works for my kids nerf guns came slightly damaged but nothing even really visible. Would definitely recommend. Had to modify a little for nerf guns.

   The gun rack is honestly junk. I would not recommend it. It is very flimsy, screws were stripped from the factory, missing 2 longer screws for the padded wood base, we followed the installation instructions (that suck also) to a T. I will be ordering something better elsewhere.

   Questions of firearms security aside … This gunrack strikes me as a handy much-better-than-nothing accessory, especially for folks with small “clothes closets” firearms collections/accumulations. In my younger years my longguns usually resided in closets leaning against the back wall or corner, with handguns usually on the shelf above. O’course, I grew up in a different Age. Upon assembly, I was delighted to find that I could pick up the empty Mondazie gunrack with ease and carry it around the house. With the screws properly tightened it feels surprisingly solid. I carried it to my, um, Firearms-related Activities Area in the basement (the “Bunker”) and loaded it with 11 ~10lb/ea longguns (mostly Milsurps). The gunrack easily handled the 100+ pound load. I played a bit with the (rather silly) arrangement of some handguns as shown in the website images. I found that I could actually get many different revolvers (in addition to the easily balanced pistols shown) carefully balanced upright as in the pics. Heaven forbid that you would bump that unsupported gunrack with 8 handguns so-balanced as displayed in the pics. Not only would they probably fall over, but since no SIDES are provided on those shelves, some would likely end up on the floor and/or hitting one or more racked longgun. In addition to the no-shelf-sides issue, access to those shelves (especially the bottom 2) would be improved with a foam kneeling pad. If I purchased this for a clothes closet accessory, I would complete the project by building a box the length & depth of the gunrack and 18″-24″ high. with the gunrack mounted on that (and attached to both box & wall!) the shelf spaces would be more accessible/useful and the box could be fitted-out for more related storage. For those of us with larger collections/accumulations and proper storage for same, this Mondazie Gun Rack could still come in handy. Many times, after a day out, I have found myself left with firearms that require cleaning and/or work before returning them to their place in a gunsafe. This little easily-mobile-when-empty gunrack could prove itself to be a handy and easily deployable Temporary Parking Spot for those firearms. This is a well-crafted and well-packaged product. There are plenty of images on the website showing the assembled gunrack, so I have uploaded some pics to give some idea of how the components arrive. Enjoy!

   Pretty easy to put together. Came with it’s own allen wrenches which is all you need tool wise. Got lucky that all the parts were there because the bag holding all the nuts and bolts was completely dumped out. The rifle part of the rack worked great. The pistol rack doesn’t really work at all. I have plenty of full size guns, but they won’t stand. The loops that hold the barrels sits about an inch or so to high. Causing the barrels to tilt up at an angle and not letting the magazines sit flush. The loops are also to shallow. They give no support for the pistols. If the pistol loops themselves came down another inch in the center of each notch it would get rid of the odd tilted angle while supporting the sides of the slides to stand the guns up.

   This is a great product for a great price. Others may look nicer but don’t be fooled. This one is all metal with the exception of the shelf where the long gun buts rest. To get anything nicer, you would have to pay a lot more money. Assembly was not difficult although it was a bit tricky. The only complaint I have was that the two allen wrenches provided barely survived the install.
