   This is a well made, small long gun case with some nice features. My unit is without the fingerprint reader and has the option to set two user codes, oddly one called supervisor and one called users. There doesn’t appear to be any difference between the two codes, so no idea why the names. The fingerprint reader uses 4AA batteries that are installed inside the door. The batteries also operate the interior light. Unlike others – i found the interior light to be dim and not terribly useful. The code reset button is on the right side of the interior door. There is a gap around the door which makes me wonder if you might be able to slip a thin piece of metal through the gap and hit the code reset button. I didn’t try it, but it looks possible. On the plus side, the hinges are all on the inside, so you can’t remove a hinge to get access to the contents like you can on some other small safes. On the inside, the surfaces are covered with a carpet like material to protect the contents. The long gun holders are nice quality, dense foam. Overall a very nice product for the price. Recommended.

   This gun locker is good, has a fast fingerprint reader, pretty easy to operate and setup. The sheet metal is textured giving a real Safe look, way better than the product picture. Realistically will tightly fit 4 rifles without attachments. Very good choice for the price. If you want a real Safe you have to spend $1000+. All the 1 star reviews don’t understand this fact.

   Honestly I was really pissed bc I looked through all the reviews and bot prices. This safe is nice don’t get me wring. But my Hubby put in the fingerprint and all was good. Until I went to the safe and put my fingerprint on and it worked. We thought maybe it was a glitch so we reset everything. We tried it again and both of ours worked. That should not happeni never put mine. I want to return it but I think it will be very expensive bc of shipping.

   I’ve recently gotten a couple different rifle safes as my young nieces have been coming to visit, and it’s easier to throw the rifles in these as opposed to making sure they don’t wander into my bedroom and poke about. As with all of these budget safes, that is the about the extent that these keep rifles safe. If someone is taking the time to burglarize your home, unless this is mounted to a wall/floor all this does is allow them to take the safe with them to open at their leisure. Granted, they’d need a vehicle to haul this away loaded with rifles, however it is a possibility. All that aside, this is great for just keeping little hands, or others from accessing rifles without permission/supervision. Definitely recommend if you have little ones.

   The safe is ok, but isn’t for a AR-15 as t all. Doesn’t fit with my scope on it inside the safe. It’s good for my shotgun and handguns on top. The shelve isn’t covered with the inside layer of the felt. Also setting up code and finger print is pretty easy. Nice safe for the price, but also the light isn’t bright enough.

   This is not the most impenetrable gun safe on the market, but at this price point you wouldn’t expect to need ex***sives to get past the security features. I imagine that any safe, even a giant bank vault could be broken into given the right amount of time and tools. This safe does what most of us want a gun safe to do… it makes it nearly impossible for kids and intruders to get their hands on our weapons without alerting us to their attempts, and needing a bunch of time alone with the safe to do so. I am especially impressed on how well the fingerprint detection works, which can be life saving in the sorts of emergencies in which a firearm might be employed. Most fingerprint detection takes more than a few attempts to open a lock, but this one seems to work first time, every time. The safe also features provisions for opening the lock with a number combo, and comes with a battery pack that can power the lock and biometrics in the case of a dead battery. It also has a small work light that comes on when the door is successfully opened, similar to a car’s dome light, or the light in your refrigerator (although a little dimmer). This safe even comes with a set of keys and a hidden lock tumbler just in case all else fails.
