   I ordered this for my husband because he has a handgun he wants in the house for protection, and we have two kids. I was wary of ordering something that is a random ngclab.com brand, but this is good quality and he is pleased with it. Having a gun for protection but having it unloaded for safety seems to defeat the purpose, since most of the scenarios I can imagine needing it would require it being immediately ready for use. This safe checks both boxes nicely. I bought this after we had a house fire and my husband had to dig his gun out of the wet/nasty/toxic debris in our closet because he worried about people breaking in to look for things to steal. (I was skeptical because we live in a nice enough golf course neighborhood, and who is evil enough to take from people who just lost everything? My neighbor sure did chase off a sketchy car that was parked a couple of houses down late at night just watching me try to save things though, so I guess I’m the naive one). This safe definitely removes a lot of the things that made me apprehensive to have a gun in the house. If you want a gun safe this is a good one!

   Item will not operate according to the functionality it was intended. The locking mechanism on left side will not allow it to open, right side opens with keypad and key but the left side will not open Pointless for a safe intended to protect items when you can’t even open it to place items inside for securement Extreamly disapointed in product as well as ngclab.com for not testing it for having normal functionality before shipping it back out a”good as new “
   And to top it off I ordered on the 11th of Jan 25 received today the 17th of Jan 25
   Shipped from Ohio went to Kentucky then to Illinois then to Wisconsin then to Illinois
   No wonder why it took 6 days vs six hours and I don’t want to waste my time figuring out what should had been 383 mile journey it moved snail pace 63 miles per day.

   We bought this to use as a kitchen knife safe as one client has knife restrictions. It has been a great way to avoid restrictions to others in the house and no worries of a password being shared because we have it set to only fingerprints. This is a real game changer for the organization I support and the people they serve.

   I was somewhat disappointed that build quality didn’t stand up to the other safes in this size / price point. While the instructions were sparse, the setup of both pass code and fingerprints was simple and fast. So, the let downs were – the cover’s edge is left plain with no inward return. A little disconcerting – see photos. There’s a noticeable gap along the open edges of the cover. Not that my gentle probing led to anything. The cover is 2mm thk. Sturdy enough for sure. Most of the disappointment came from the safe’s opening mechanism’s performance – see attached video – all hope of a silent open and weapon deployment is gone when the safe sounds like a gong being rung when opened. Then the lack of a complete opening of the cover could possibly hamper weapon access. You also need two hands to securely close the safe. It even provides a pair of helpful “press here” stickers. So in short: + simple straightforward electronic setup; – flimsy *looking* cover with gaps – closing requires multiple locations (the only way to close it with one hand is to slam it shut- this likely works for most) – makes an audible sound when opened; – does not open completely. This safe is being “returned for refund”, decision made within a couple of hours of operational familiarizion. Lastly, that the packaging showed this was clearly opened prior to my receipt of it was the icing on the “nope” cake.

   This safe would be defeated easily by a screw driver as there is a big gap between the lid and the body of the case. I bet it would break open easily in no time at all. Size is nice.

   Love it, love it. It keeps my firearms safe and accessible. You must deliberately press the fingerprint button twice to open it, which makes it safe against accidental openings. The setup was very easy. I like that it can be opened with fingerprint or combo, in case one fails. It was large enough to hold 2 firearms if placed strategically. I know that my firearms are safe out of little hands but accessible enough in an emergency. I liked it so much, I bought my son the same one.
