Bought this pack to use as a day bag for a pack trip in Washington and it was awesome. The Orange rain cover worked perfectly, the hydration bladder I had fit without issue and there was ample room to carry extra items, rain gear, etc. The smaller front pocket was fantastic for keeping small things handy and the side pockets on the waist belts were great for carrying a range finder in one, plus as a bonus it’s removable so I was able to use the main pack as my carry on bag. the rifle sling on the back will hold a fully scoped Smith and Wesson M&P 10 without a wobble or concern that the rifle was not secure. Stood up well to brush rubbing against it and me falling on it as I tried to get off a horse.
