   I wanted this shooting tripod for my rifles, and after a couple of outings, I can say I’m not impressed. Some of the benefits are it comes with a handy carrying bag, and the stand itself is made of durable aluminum, which is sturdy but loses its stiffness when you extend the legs. It’s supposed to be versatile and can be converted into a monopod.

   I found that many points of articulation make it unstable when fully extended. When I rest the entire weight of the rifle on it, everything becomes susceptible to vibration and wind; there is more stability when using it as a monopod. The compact size and the overall construction of the item are good, but it’s not very stable at higher shooting positions. While it’s portable and adjustable, it just didn’t meet my expectations for stability.

   Well built for a camera, but not built to support a hunting rifle. Also, I’m 6’4” and it doesn’t get tall enough for a comfortable standing view on my spotting scope.

   I’ve used it a few times but not really impressed. It seems kinda of flimsy if you are thinking about buying one for hunting I’d recommend spending a little bit more and getting one more stout. I added a rifle grip just because I am use to using one.

   This tripod is great. The material is lightweight enough to throw in a bag but dense enough to provide a sturdy base for an AR platform rifle. The legs extend easily making this a functional piece of kit. The shoe for the top easily accepts the picatinny rail mount and locks into place. This drops down to a manageable size and stores away in the provided bag. This is great for steadying those long shots.

   The legs expand too wide to fit in my truck bed. It is very wobbly and flimsy. Especially with a heavy “hunting tool” on top. I was excited to get it but after one use it sits in a closet.
