   This little guy isn’t the top dollar or highest performer, however, the price you pay definitely gives bang for your buck. After 3 years in standby with occasional range day, I have yet to change the batteries. It’s also super bright. The lowest setting is bright indoors and it only takes a few more clicks to get it up to par outside on a sunny day. The selectable luminance from 0-10 is a great addition.

   This thing is great as a back up or even primary. It lacks a motion sensor, but that’s a loss you take for paying such an affordable fee.

   Super easy to sight in and I have not noticed any discrepancies or loss of zero since doing so. It’s taken a few thousand rounds and still stays center. Protective covering and riser mount is also an added bonus. Can take rain without problem as I’ve tested.

   Installation was a breeze. Had it on within a few minutes.

   I don’t have any range time yet but there were enough reviews and tortures test that sold me on the unit. Its mounts easily and for those saying it comes loose. Use some blue loctite on all threads. The only issue I have is this. I got the 1.0″ mount for a 1/3 lower cowitness but for some reason its much much lower like “1/5”? You can see in the pic the emitter housing covers up almost the entire from sight its so low in the lens. The front A2 sight is a standard FN A2 sight on a midlength and the upper is a standard A4 with a genuine Magpul BUIS. I contacted AT2 and they have been very helpful. They are not sure why mine is so low but they are sending me the .83 mount to drop the optic a bit. Customer service is quick to reply and quick to help get issue fixed. If anyone else has had this issue please let me know.

   Mounted the AT3 RD-50 PRO an my most recent AR9 pistol build. Matched up on pic rail perfectly with no play or wobble. Dot is crisp and clear. Glass is really quite good considering cost. Adjustments were tactile and audible, and allowed straightforward zeroing with only 15 rounds, including a five round group to confirm. Targets shown were shot offhand at 20 yards, which seemed like a logical zero for a 5” barrel length bag gun. All in all, I like almost everything about this red dot… What’s NOT to like? I feel the rubber armor is a bit fragile, and seems a bit of an afterthought to me, especially the lens caps, which won’t stay connected and out of the way. I’d prefer much thicker armor, and more positive mating of the lens covers. Does this really matter? No. Has nothing to do with the actual effectiveness of the optic, and is more than outweighed by the included riser mount which seems of good quality, and is a pretty classy looking attachment method. Fantastic value. Great battery life. Really useable dot that gets plenty precise and can also be bright enough for any outdoor conditions I can think of. Comes WITH MOUNT, (PRO model). Armor could be better, but at least you have some protection. Lifetime transferable warranty. Highly recommended.

   Mounted this on a Ruger pc 9. Nice and sturdy mount, has perfect co-witness for irons on this gun. Easily adjusted/sight-in, positive 1/4 click intervals. The red dot itself is on full power in the pic I provided. I think It’s great! Super clean, easily adjusted as well. The “scope bikini” included is really neat, I’ll continue to use it for sure..
   And a sweet AT3 decal 🙂

   This little guy came in the mail a few days ago and I am very impressed so far. Well designed and well constructed box, with plenty of padding, and this pro version comes with the red dot itself, a riser of your choice, and the armor. I have read some previous complaints about the armor being a loose fit but that is not the case with my situation and I find the armor to be a great addition and fit to the red dot. Reticle has 11 different brightness settings that are changed by a crisp click of the knob, and I personally prefer the 7 setting on a typical day on the range. Mounted this guy on my brand new Winchester Wildcat, and with this red dot on there my Wildcat is a bad unit (hitting nickels at 30 yards freehanded). Installation got interesting when I loosened the screw too much and the bracket on the one side fell off, but i quickly put that back on and continued to slide it on my picatinny rail. I would highly recommend you get this red dot because it will greatly improve your accuracy, and you can’t beat this buy for only $100.
