   First one I received was not good. Out of the box the red dot was low right and would not center wit height or windage. Returned that and caught another . Reason was the glass was very clear and magnification was really good. Manufacturing issues will happen and I understand that. The new one I received as of now seems good. But still need to test it at the range.
   I’ll be posting in a few weeks.

   Glad this lines up well enough with my red dot and riser. Easy to assemble, with a nice set of shims to match it to your reflex sight (within a certain range, at least). Gives a very clear picture, even thru a kill-flash. Feels sturdy, and stays in both positions well, while still being able to swing back and forth. A tad heavy, and the tint can compound with goggles and sights, making for a rather dark view in low light conditions. But overall a great addon for my airsoft rifle.

   This is just a magnifier scope. It must be used in conjunction with a red dot (or similar) scope/sight system. This scope is not intended to be used on its own. Good quality and solidly built. Feels like all aluminum construction in the housing and mount/hinge. The swing away hinge works smoothly and feels solid. Comes with some small tools for install as well as a couple extra mounting plates. I think the extra mounting plates are different thickness, allowing for some adjustment up and down of the magnifier, in case it doesn’t line up perfectly with your red dot. A couple observations: while small install tools are included, there is not a Phillips screw driver. Odd – because the hardware includes Phillips head screws. Also, the focus is adjustable, but the zoom is “locked in.” This might appear confusing based on the housing marking on the focus adjustment dial, which has a “+” and a “-“. It might appear, based on the markings, that the zoom is adjustable in and out. However that is not the case. The dial only adjusts focus. In summary, this is a good quality magnifier, and should couple well with many red dot scopes.

   At first glance, it seems like a well-built optic. Well, that ends once you mount it and pivot the sight to discover very high tolerances in the machining, resulting in several millimeters of movement at the optic. I never fired with it, but I’m guessing that on anything other than an airsoft it would be dancing around, basically worthless.

   There are some things to like, but at the end of the day, I couldn’t find an eye relief solution. I have an iron rear sight mounted on the very last picatinny slot. When folded, it extends over the charging handle. I mounted the CVLife magnifier *immediately* in front of the iron rear sight, and the CVLife red dot immediately in front of the magnifier.

   The only way I can get to a proper eye relief is to set the six position collapsible stock in the shortest possible position, the exact opposite of what you’d want to do for a longer range shot that the CVLife magnifier is presumably meant for.

   I’m keeping it, instead of returning it… but just barely. I can do without the iron sights… but even that will only get my stock to he first position longer than the shortest.

   I would be interested to know if anyone else has a solution to this problem.

   It works, but it does the bill qualities poor and it’s not stable. It moves around is not from being on the gun. It is from how they built it. It’s just a cheap Magnifier. You really do pay for what you get.
