The battery compartment was manufactured too small to fit the required 18650 3.7-volt battery.
Had to return it.
You can’t make this stuff up!

Scope works great. Was surprised how clear it is for day use and how much you can see at night. Would definitely recommend for night use.

You need to get one rechargeable 18650 battery for it. The crosshair is adjustable in the settings, and the settings are simple and not overly complicated. I zoomed in on something and I noticed the image did become grainy as it zoomed, which is common with lower end digital NV devices. “AI zoom” detects longer ranges and automatically zooms in. It has a decently low height over bore, but you may need a riser mount depending on your cheek weld situation. A quick release mount would really come in handy unless whatever you’re putting it on is dedicated for it, and a zeroed in IR laser mounted on the side rail could definitely increase this thing’s ability. A short while ago, you’d need several hundred to a few thousand dollars for a really nice digital day/night scope, but thankfully now we have this decent, affordable, lower tier option as well.
(user review with battery cap not screwed on is lying)
