I had written a review detailing all of the benefits of having a magazine that would assist in dry firing by resetting the striker. Having used all of the industries leading training products, I had hoped that this one was full of the most potential. To eliminate racking the slide would offer the shooter a more real-world experience, minus the report or recoil. However it would be great to assist with trigger pull consistency. All of that is true, along with being able to save money on ammo….however, NONE of this works if the magazine doesn’t fit the Glock 43X. This doesn’t.

It was a bit hard to get inserted (G48) so that had me a bit nervous. It hits a point where you think it is locked but is clearly sticking way to far out. Push past that and seat it fully and here is what you get:
You get a harder than usual first break as the striker actually releases and then you get a spring powered forced return but you never feel a reset. Imagine wrapping a rubber band around the back of the trigger that pulls it to 99% of reset. Never re-engages the firing pin spring/searr, but gives you a feeling of some tension on the press.
I am going to keep using it, I typically just break the first and then hard press the un-reset trigger face while dry firing. It may just be “new” to me.

2 important things to know about this device : you have to tune it a bit to make it work (follow included directions), and you have to make sure it’s completely inserted into the 43X too. It then works flawlessly. Additional springs for different trigger pulls is included. It does stick out a bit at the bottom but don’t teacup your grip and you’ll be fine.
