   Absolutely awesome. Very high quality steel, took an entire day’s worth of shooting from multiple different people. All at the same time. This thing was tortured and it absolutely held up. You’re given two different ways to stake it to the ground whether a giant post or four individual smaller stakes both work well what I’m impressed with are the quality of the welds. The thickness of the steel used. Then how everything just slaps together simply. Anybody could start using this whether they’re alone or with somebody to up their target acquisition definitely improving accuracy. For the money I haven’t seen anything anywhere near this quality your. Everything else I’ve seen in this price range you can bend with your bare hands. This thing you will not be able to. Even when we missed and shot the actual stand it held up. Took a bit of paint off but that’s to be expected. As far as a dueling Target it’s awesome, and functions just how it should. Comes with everything you need to install it and set it up so if you just want to grab the box and a way to open the box and hit the range you’re good to go. It’s got such a simple design there’s nothing that could really go wrong, and if there is I’m sure it’d be simple to fix. You cannot beat the price for what you get, incredible value. I seriously haven’t had this much fun with my .22 in a long time. I’m going to get another one!

   Great dueling tree. Breaks down well and seems to work smooth. This will be fun to use with friends! It’s made well with good quality steel. Seems like it should hold up fine with .22 cal but I bet it can take larger calibers too. Really good find!

   I’m teaching my little man (10 year old) to shoot and I put this out on the range and it’s great. It flips back and forth nicely after being shot so you know that it was hit. Putting it together was all of 2 screws and it was ready to go! I would recommend staying with smaller caliber to ensure that the metal lasts for a while. I shot one at close range with my 9mm and it took it… But it did put a hole in the target.

   I was really impressed with the quality of this plinking tree right out of the box. The angle iron is thick, the welds are robust, and the powder coating is nice. Assembly is also a breeze. I configured it to include the ground spike. All the welds on this product are thick. I have ordered many other similar products on ngclab.com and often the steel is connected with spot welds which are weak. The attachment points on this product are full beads which are stronger and will last longer. See the attached photo. Also, as you can see in the photo, the paddle sleeves are rounded to prevent the paddles from getting “stuck” in the middle. The curvature of the sleeve forces the paddle to fully engage to the left or the right, ensuring you have a flat surface to shoot at. I have had other trees where the paddle gets “stuck” directly behind the vertical support post, forcing you to go to the target and reset the paddles. The paddles themselves are thick and handle 22 rimfire just fine. The paddle size is perfect. Small enough to be challenging for experienced shooters doing drills, but big enough for kids or novice folks to be successful in getting hits on target. The ground spike is 11 inches long and, coupled with the ground plate, the target was very stable when I put it in compact soil. One place where I shoot has very sandy/loose soils and I anticipate that I will need to design additional support for this target to keep it upright. This isn’t a product flaw, but do consider this point depending on where you want to use this tree. The footprint is relatively small so it will perform better in firmer soil. Lastly, the target is very compact and easy to transport. The machining is nice, with no sharp edges, so you can stick the tree just about anywhere for transport without tearing up vehicle carpets or your shooting gear. This product is a winner man. I will be disposing of some of my other rimfire targets that are now obsolete compared to this. Happy plinking everybody…

   While I found the dueling tree to be very well-made, I would caution other buyers to have a spray can of orange paint available, and another of a contrasting color, because you will eventually shoot off the stick-on decals, and will also shoot the paint off the swinging targets. This is not a criticism of the product at all, just an unavoidable fact if the buyer(s) shoot at it enough. It is fun to use, and can also be used by yourself to hone your marksmanship skills.

   I’ve always wanted one of these, and now I know why. It has all the benefits of time at the range with dynamic targets, but the added pleasure of turning timed shooting into a game. The targets flip when hit, indicated a “point earned” in comparison to your shooting buddy. Very durably made and sized to assist in accuracy without you having to be Annie Oakley. Great quality construction will keep you pinging away for hours and years, so certainly worth the money. Assembly is a matter of minutes, and it holds firm in usage and in wind. Great fun and also a real benefit to aiming and accuracy.
