   for the price, you cannot beat it. almost as good as the real steel . the G43 type. (i returned the g45, eye relief, eyebox was worse than my ACOG)
   the price gap is well worth the slight difference in glass quality , eye relief eyebox… and if durability is the issue, you can buy 4 of there for the price of one real one and have spares or fit all your rifles. i removed the Flip to side and mounted it on a unity mount FTC (lol yes a real one, i wanted to test height and options but wasnt ready to drop 500$ on eotech for testing). so far so good. and yes i dropped 400 on a real eotech . this is almost as good as the real G43.

   First, I own the real thing. I bought this for some of my backup rifles that rarely come out of the safe to see if it would fit the bill. While the holographic sight itself has no comparison to the real thing, the magnifier is a pretty good substitute for the absurdly priced about $600 real one. The eye relief on the real one is a bit better, but this is a perfect substitute if you can’t afford the $1200 real pair. Buy the real sight, use this magnifier. The mount is of questionable rigidity at times, but you can replace that and still be way under the real ones price. I have to say, I see no reason to buy the overpriced real one unless you’re literally in an armed forces environment. Sometimes these cheap knock offs just get it right. I did dock it one star for the mount though. Otherwise, this thing is spot on.

   First impression was the good quality of the build… – The construction feels solid. The magnifier isn’t really heavy…but has some heft. – No defects noted in fit and finish…look and alignment is good. – The turret adjustments “clicks” are rather crisp and distinct in general. – The lenses are clear. The magnification is what I expected for 3X…objects do appear to be 3x in size. – Adjustable diopter. The adjustment is somewhat tight, even after some fiddling. – No issues mounting it on my pic rail…and the quick release is a nice feature. – Flipping the magnifier in/out of view is rather stiff…but perhaps will loosen with use. I’d rather have it too stiff than too loose…so very minor gripe. – The carry box is a nice touch…though it the magnifier only fits in one non-intuitive way in the case. – Works/aligns well with my dot sight. Bottom Line: Quality build. It’s a solid, clear, well-built magnifier

   Caveat: I did not expect much from this magnifier. I bought it because I hoped the mount would be at least clone-correct, as the eotech g33 QD flip-to-side mounts themselves are worth ~$250. Spoiler: it is not clone correct. The mount does not accept a genuine g-33 or any optics that use the same footprint. OK so it doesn’t fulfill my specific expectations. That’s fine. What about the rest of the product? Glass – quality is OK. Definitely cheap, but useable for a 3x. There is noticable chromatic abberation at dstance an warping and at the outer ~20% of the edges, which is to be expected for a magnifier at this cost. Eye relief/eyebox – poor. I would say the eye relief is about 1-1.5 inches and the eyebox is tight. This is someting you can work around with. But the next problem has no solution… there is problem with the “return-to-zero” of this magnifier. I put return to zero in quotes because you don’t really zero a magnifier, but the center of the reticle can shift quite drastically and noticeably when flipping the magnifier back and forth. It’s never at the point where you lose the reticle entirely. However it might shift from the center of the optic to the left or right third of the eye picture. And that is very annoying because once you fix it the problem comes right back. And then the final damning flaw. This optic is not nitrogen purged to prevent fogging. The inside of the optic will build up moisture and you will have no way to fix this without taking the thing apart or sending it back. So if you take this thing out on a cold/rainy day, and go back inside to a warm environment, the image quality will be ruined by a foggy lense. Forever. Please see my picture to know what that looks like. Not only does that look bad, but it severely decreases light transmission Who is this for? People who will never experience high humidity, rain, or cold days, and will probably keep this thing in a glass display forever without actually using its mediocre glass.

   The eye relief is not great but that’s the case with every prism type optic. I have had this on a rifle for a while now. Has help up well to the abuse and i can not report any issues as of yet.

   I like the way you can easily collimate the magnifier. It is pretty solid to flip back and forth. Very tactile. The tiniest of wiggle. I mean tiny. I and not crazy about the reticle focus. I’m using it with an Eotech xbow holo site. I haven’t looked at any long range with it yet, but I’m pretty sure the ring on front of the front lens will focus the optic to different ranges. Sometimes you need to spend money on good glass, sometimes you can see money for ammo and grab one of these off ngclab.com. I’m more of an lpvo guy, bit this has potential. It lines up with my Nox35 thermal very well, too.

   Loving this. Glass seemed fine. The Centering adjustments work and are helpful.
   This is put behind a Large Pistol Red Dot/Circle Dot, and it is great.

   I thought that the height spacer would be needed for the Lower Third .83 height I needed, but that was not necessary, and the reticle did not look clear until it was lowered.
