   That’s really all this bag adds over the one that the T4+ comes with. The original bag and this bag both have the same material. the only difference is really that this bag has a flap that covers the zipper, no doubt the “water resistant” aspect, and this bag does have an outside pouch which is handy to store stuff like the instructions or stakes.

   I’ll keep it because I have it, but if you’re on the fence….just cover the OE bag zipper with paraffin wax and save your $80 for gas money to drive to somewhere fun

   I’d like to start by saying the reviewer who said this is the same as the bag it comes with is dead wrong. The bag our T4 Plus came with is def not water proof. And no amount of bees wax was going to change that. If you plan on strapping your tent to your car for trips and might be expecting rain — I definitely recommend upgrading to this bag. HOWEVER — the manufacturer dropped the ball on this bag by not including attachment points for strapping this down, like the other bag has. Our biggest inconvenience with this tent is strapping this to the roof of our car. For that reason I dropped it down to 4 stars.
