   The color instantly catches your eye. Next to that is how smoothly machined this is. I am really impressed as I look this over. It makes for a perfectly adjusted fit for the night vision/thermal. It’s made out of metal and plastic. The key important parts are all machined metal. Really high quality and smooth as you use the gears. This will be perfect for the color scheme I have going on in my tactical gear. Really pleased to have this. Great product, check it out!

   I received this night vision mount for my ballistic helmet but I have yet to receive the new ballistic helmet. However, I’m very impressed with the construction of the mount. The material feels strong and durable, and should be able to withstand rigorous training and the abuse it will receive during those times. There are plenty of adjustments as well so that you are able to get your viewing lenses lined up correctly with your eyes. QD mount to fasten it to the helmet as well as QD mount for the bracket that connects to the NVGs so your able to remove just the NVGs from the helmet.

   I’m confident that once I get this on my new helmet, the mount will stay in place and provide me with the durability and longevity I’m looking for in an NVG mount. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the quality of this product and would recommend it to anyone in need of night vision protection.

   It’s a good mount made solid. When I get the J Arm I will update it. The plastic parts feel brittle but I will have to test it in the field. It will need some tightening on screws as well as some blue lock tight.

   I bought this for a set of NVGs and to my surprise there was nothing junky about this. There was no wiggle anywhere except on the arms that hold your nods, but even that was minimal. Having used a real wilcox this is actually on par, I recommend using loctite if you want to go real deal movements and running and what not. This even comes with an awesome mini pelican like box and mounting shroud which many of these replica vendors would charge extra for. For the price and quality I would buy this several times over before even coming close to the price of a real Wilcox. This is a must if you are in the market for this style mount and this vendor sold an amazing mount (maybe I just got lucky…I don’t know) I would HIGHLY recommend buying this.

   Maybe it’s just a quality control thing, but mine came without the shroud. Funnily enough it came with the mounting hardware for the shroud, but no shroud. The quality is better than I expected for the price, it’s machined rather well. Really is a shame that the part that actually attaches it to your head is missing
