The mount is decent, haven’t mounted NODs on it yet, it’s firm but slightly shaky nothing crazy. The good thing is that it comes with its own shroud. The product is great for its price and I’d suggest this instead you spending 400-500 bucks on a brand name one. It was worth the $

The first mount I received had some wiggle to it. This can be tightened with the screws and there is a YouTube video showing what screws to replace with nylon tipped to help this issue. I contacted the seller and they were quick to respond and sent out a replacement after sending them a video of the problem. The new mount is SOLID. I’m very happy with it.

Mount seems well made, everything works fine. Has some slop in the up and down cam, but my understanding is that the real thing is the same way. Would be good if they machined the spring loaded pin with a taper so it always fit tight.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Absolutely a 5 star review for this item. After buying so many nvg shrouds and mounts, I am really happy with this purchase. Although the NVG shroud is made of some kind of hard plastic, the build quality is great and sturdy. As for the NVG mount, the thing is metal and sturdy. You could really mount a gopro attachment or replica nvg to it without amy issues.
I would HIGHLY reccomend this product. Will complete the look of your helmet of choice.
(I have not attempted to use the nvg mount with an actual nvg, I am too poor.)
