   The reason I gave this product 4 stars, instead of 5, is because the safe’s fingerprint feature did not work. However, I emailed the company and heard back the same day and they had ngclab.com send me a replacement pronto! That is some great customer service, that I really appreciate, and all is good now.

   It fits what I need to store in it, it is easy to program both the combo and fingerprint reader. The only negative is the way the cable attaches, it can be unscrewed with the case locked. A locknut that I had on hand remedied that issue.

   Ok, I was NOT expecting this to be built as solid as it is. I was really expecting more “hotel” quality type safes you see in the closets of hotel rooms. This is super heavy for it’s small size, really thick with a nice quality finish. There are 3 different ways of operating the lock. Either by fingerprint (capable of capturing and storing up to 50 different finger prints), password (You can set a total of eight sets of six digit passwords) or by key (comes with two physical keys). It is also equipped with the USB hub in case of battery failure, you can temporarily plug in USB cable for temporary access to buttons. They’ve also included a heavy duty steel cable to be able to tether your mini safe to a stationary object in your home. Set up of this many safe literally took me about 2 minutes to do other than the fingerprints. Depending on how many fingerprints you want to assign it might take longer. For the money this is definitely an excellent choice. Especially if you have children in the home. This is a decent size safe with excellent padding. Will fit any handgun easily but no way it will fit more than one at a time.
   Cons: keypad only has four buttons (1-4). No holes on the back to be able to bolt down to stationary object.

   I am delighted with this well made gun safe. It’s the perfect size for my pistol and hunting knife, and there’s still a little room left for other valuables. I’ve tried biometric safes that unlock with fingerprints, but unfortunately at age 81 my fingerprints are not distinct enough to register on most biometric devices. This safe offers a pin code option which is just as fast, and works every time. It operates on 4 AAA batteries, and there’s a USB-C option if the batteries should fail. Plus there are two keys included.
