   This is a good budget trail cam. The sensor is pretty good, night vision and image quality are above average. The plastic body is decent and seems well sealed thus far.

   This is my first experience using a trail camera, but I get lots of critters in my backyard, so I thought it would be fun. So, to set it up, you must insert an SD card, and 8 AA batteries. But, you get a lot of performance out of the batteries, and the SD card. This camera has run for about 5 weeks so for on the initial batteries. It has taken hundreds of photos, round the clock over the course of those weeks. There still remains capacity on the SD card for thousands more snaps. For some reason, this camera started taking photos even during the initial set up mode, which I didn’t think it would do, but really didn’t cause any problems. Speaking of set up, this camera can be easily set up to shoot video, as well as still photos. I haven’t shot video with it yet, but I intend to try that out soon. As far as photos, they aren’t bad. The resolution isn’t the best I’ve ever seen, especially viewing the photos on the tiny screen of this trail cam, but it’s not terrible. Mounting the camera is very easy. It comes with a couple of nylon straps that slide through corresponding slots in the camera body. Then just wrap the straps around a tree trunk, or a post or pillar, as I did in my yard, secure the straps with the included buckles and it’s secured. Turn the camera to “on” mode and walk away. The camera is motion activated, it will capture anything that moves.

   This trail cam is super simple to set up, is simple to operate, has great picture quality. It is made from quality material and very rugged it is an extremely well-functioning trail camera and very reasonably priced as well.

   I have an easement between my neighbor and I, and I got this camera to see what goes on at night. The camera includes a strap that facilitates attachment to a tree or post. The camouflage blends in nicely with the trunk. I used it for still photos. I installed an ngclab.com basics 128 GB micro SD card in an adapter, and it worked great. Pictures are good quality. I set it for standard resolution, but HD can be selected. I included day and night pictures of the same location for comparison. It is straight forward to use. The menu options are understandable and easy to navigate. It could have used a little more time after initial turn on to enable me to get out of field of view, but I only captured a few images of myself, so not a big deal. It comes with a USB cable to enable the pictures to be downloaded without removing the memory card. I was not able to make this function work on my computer, not sure why. I tried the included cable, as well as one I had laying around the house. I contacted customer support. They were not able to resolve the problem, so requested I return the camera, which I did. They sent out a new camera, and I have the same issue, so I have to believe it is my computer, even though I have successfully connected other devices, including cameras, to the same USB port. The description in the ngclab.com page says communication protocol is WiFi. This camera has no WiFi and no Bluetooth capability. Not an issue for me, but if you are looking for wireless communication with your device, this is not the one you want. Overall, a decent trail or game camera, at a reasonable price.
