   The rifle/gun storage came assembled, price is right, and packaging is great better than I thought. The quality is ok, the steel gauge is thin and probably could withstand a heavy blow. The touch electronic plate has a good display but only will open using the factory default code and using the key provided. The instruction is poorly written, confusing and doesn’t explain the exact way of changing the default code (6 digits) to your personal liking code. in short I did a try to replace the factory electronic coded key and to my dismay, can’t be done. Maybe the product producer should provide us a very simple and easy instruction to replace factory electronic key code.

   For the price it is better than I expected, the electronics are a bit cheap but get the job done. Once put together is pretty sturdy but it has to be mounted to the wall because of the door.

   My husband wanted a safe to keep his guns. He didn’t need anything fancy, just really wanted some place to lock them up. This is great for the money. The reviews we read were discouraging because we thought it would be horrible to assemble, but it really wasn’t bad. Needed two people but really I mainly held the flashlight. He mounted to back wall of closet. Looks good and was less than $200. He has 12 guns in the safe. He removed the shelf and doesn’t use it because some of the guns are too long. I would recommend.

   First of all, let me just say that this safe requires mounting. Either floor mounting, or wall mounting (as pictured). If not, it will fall over when opening the top heavy door. It comes with floor mounting hardware that is easy to install provided you have a concrete bit. For the price, I think this is a great value. We had a small problem with the magnetic lock which required us to use the key instead. The manufacturer immediately sent out a replacement safe at no charge. I Recommend this safe for anyone who needs it to protect your kids from accessing your firearms. It’s pretty lightweight metal, so probably not suitable for anything beyond that. Again, a great safe for home/family use. You won’t find a better value.

   It does the job of holding several long guns…plus two handguns on the door with some room left over for a few boxes of ammo.. . A fairly sturdy steel box, not thick steel, but would certainly hold off an “amateur” perp…. Great for keeping the youngsters away from your firearms… Needs to be securely attached to floor and/or wall. Do not let this unit stand alone without securing it….
