   This chest rig works perfectly for my Gen 3, Glock 22, S&W .40 pistol. I use this during backcountry backpacking trips. No slippage and the retention holster firmly holds the weapon in place until you need it. The main advantage is having your sidearm close without the waist straps of your pack getting in the way of you need it. There is also enough room on the front straps to add a can of bear spray or other items should you need them. The strap that goes over the shoulder can chafe at the neckline while in a t-shirt, but there was zero chafing wearing any collared outdoors shirts. As with any retention holster, drawing the weapon may have more resistance than you are normally used to, so I would recommend safely practicing with dry fire drills until you are comfortable.

   It’s lightweight, comfortable, and durable in punishing weather. I would highly recommend this in combination with bear spray, especially in bear country. It help me keep both items close when needing them was a matter of survival.

   I like to support veteran owned companies, this is a ‘good’ holster, it is however very much overpriced for what it actually is. Mine needed a lot of modification to fit right. I suspect the design is simply modeled on 1 ideal 6.4ft body type, and maybe works for ‘most’ people, but this universal fit approach to this, could be a whole lot better by simply replacing the holster rivets with riv-nuts, allowing the position of the harness assembly to be adjusted as needed, using the existing 9 holster side rivet holes . I had to take a dremil and grind off several rivets and replace them with kydex nuts in order to reposition the harness to fit correctly. This required I remove a section of the actual holster corner itself. I also slightly heated parts of the holster edges over the stove and held until cool in order to place a gentle arc/curve laterally, to better fit me. This entire process also properly loosened up the unbelievably tight fit of the pistol, which was actually leaving depression marks on the trigger guard. Its way to tight from the factory as others have also noted. Anyway, this is a ‘good’ albeit expensive holster, if you are willing & able to do some tweeking on it, should that be needed to fit you right. Maybe the manf will read this review and consider changing a few things to make this good holster, a great one!

   I give this product five stars, to fit my glock 23 perfectly very well made, except it’s not made for a oversized boy like me, that’s just a nice way to describing myself I have a fat belly LOL, because of that I could not get the comfortable fit I needed

   Fits a Glock 40 with a green dot site with no problem. I would say you could jump on a trampoline and your Glock will NOT fall out. Light weight and comfortable enough to wear for hours. The “handedness” in the listing is the hand you will draw with – eg, if you are right handed get the right hand holster. This is easy to adjust if you had to wear over a jacket.

   One hint; when you are going to draw, hold the buckle connection point on the off hand side and sharply draw (instead of just pulling the gun)

   Great holster for outdoor activity, and is comfortable and well-made. It has excellent retention, so I don’t need to worry about losing my pistol while running or mountain biking. As such, it’ll take a bit of force to overcome the retention when you need to draw. I am able to draw one-handed, but some may find it necessary to hold the holster with one hand while drawing the pistol with the other. There is no tension adjustment screw, and I’m not sure how much easier it may get over the years. There is plenty of clearance for tall front and rear sights (see image).

   It’s got excellent retention and is extremely comfortable. I wish it just had levels, for I cannot really use this while on duty. For my safety I switched to a level 3 safariland on the hip holster. I really liked the design of this and liked the chest holster Alot but with only level 1 retention, if some crazy f*** wanted to, they could take this out. If you were not using it for Duty and just say hunting or airsoft or something like that, this would probably be excellent. It is form fitted so the firearm fits right in and is has very good level of retention. Running, or doing any sort of activities this gun is not coming out. It is extremely comfortable and can adjust easily and looks really good. However for me, it just doesn’t work, for my line of work (Armed Private Security)

    I wanted this for increased mobility while hunting, and this chest holster definitely delivered! Feels very secure when the straps are properly tightened, good tension has held the pistol in place through miles and miles of hiking. If you’ve hunted with a sidearm on your hip as long as you can remember, you’ll also appreciate how getting that weight off your hip will noticeably reduce fatigue. This is not an inexpensive item but has been worth every penny so far!
