  • Package Includes: one 1/2″ AR500 steel target and its iron-made 2*4 board target hanger set. The target hanger set contains one hanger body, two 1/2″ carriage bolts, and two compression springs. Extra bolts and springs are provided just in case parts get damaged during a long time of use.
  • AR500 Steel Target: the laser cutted steel target is designed for backyard shooting and range shooting. Its 1/2 inches thickness allows it to hold up to 3000 fps, and cannot be easily ruined if your power does not exceed the limit.
  • Target Hanger Set: fit on any 2*4 boards, allows various ways to mount it. You might have to drill on the board if you need it to be tightly mounted. Two black bolts are provided to lock its position, and two carriage bolts are for mounting the target. One of the two carriage bolts and springs is the spare set.

    I was really surprised in how this steel held up to a 308 at 100 yards. It was probably a little too close for 308 so there are some dimples but nothing to be really worried about.

    I spent a hundred and fifty dollars building a strap hanging metal target bigger than this one. It doesn’t always ring when hit, it sways around.
    This single vertical 2×4 with an X base of 2×6 can be made in an hour and the hardware attached in minutes. If you destroy the vertical 2×4 it’s easy and cheap to replace. The hardware hangs at an angle the bottom towards the post. The bolt holding the target has a heavy spring that absorbs the bullet impact and resets the target. If you hit it there’s a ring!
    The metal target is good for.22 7yards, 9mm 25 yards, soft point rifle center fire 100 yards or more. I think it will last quite well as the target protects the hardware. I am happy with my purchase.
