- Leupold’s Advanced Optical System offers tried and true light transmission for extended glassing sessions, best in class glare reduction in harsh light, and the resolution and clarity that recreational sportsmen and sportswomen demand.
- In Second Focal Plane (rear focal plane) scopes, the reticle stays the same size while the target grows and shrinks when you adjust the magnification. These reticles are ideal for lowlight hunting situations and in scopes that don’t utilize hash marks for range estimation.
- Hardened surface coatings are added to meet extreme military standards in scratch resistance and added lens protection.
- Designed, Machined and Assembled in the USA. 100% Waterproof, fogproof, shockproof, and backed by Leupold’s legendary customer care

While you can buy many scopes like this for way less money, they won’t match the quality materials and construction, or the optical clarity you’ll get with this scope.

Well made very clear view. This is my fourth scope and I have no regrets. Holds zero well.

I was finally able to sight my scope in. I was able to zero after 6 shots. Clear glass and solid lightweight scope. The reason for only 4 stars is bc of the adjustment knobs. There is no distinct click or sound when zeroing scope. But overall nice scope for the price.

Great scope for the money. My friends use vortex, but I prefer Leupold Gold

Glass is great. Turrets are pretty mushy. But it going on a deer rifle so it will be a set and forget optic. Brightness4/5 clarity 4.5/5. Definitely great for a huntin rig

Ive been a Leap-old man since i got my first hunting rifle. It was a .243 and it had a Leapold 2×7 on it. Killed some elk with and many deer with that combo.
I now have this new 4×12 and it’s going on a AR-15. I plan to use this combo as a target and varmint / predator rifle.
