   Magpul did not come to play with this DAKA GRID Organizer. If you’re tired of foam cutting, Velcro patches, or your gear sliding around like it’s on an amusement ride—this is your upgrade. It’s like Lego for adults who carry serious gear.

   The GRID system is super easy to customize. I was able to drop in multiple pistols, mags, lights, and tools in a clean, snug setup with zero wiggle. The foam is dense but forgiving—solid protection without the stress of getting your layout perfect the first try.

   Also, the water-resistant case insert and included tray make it feel like a premium vault for your tools or firearms. It doesn’t just organize—it elevates. Great for range days, keeping a go-bag neat, or even just flexing a little when your buddies peek in your case.

   If you’re running Pelicans or similar hard cases, stop hacking up foam and do it right. This thing’s modular, durable, and built like it’s ready for deployment.

   I received the organizer promptly as ordered. As usual Magpul makes an excellent product. The foam appears quite durable. I was concerned it would be flimsy Styrofoam, and come apart quickly. I don’t believe it will. This system is pure genius, once the manufacturing process gets up to speed the various blocks become available this give you endless configurations! The only issue is they sent the incorrect part as seen in the images by ngclab.com. Deal with Magpul directly for THIS product to ensure the proper item. I tried to make it work to no success. I contacted the CS, and Cory took care of me. Once he confirmed everything was messed up, he sent out the correct model. This one is correct and fits like a glove! I’m looking forward to years of service from this allowing me to reconfigure for various rifles! Bravo!

   Bought this for a Case club 53in card case. It’s a clone of a Pelican Protector 1750. The panels fit perfectly. I had to buy the angled kit since my precision rifle has a lot of angles to it. It fits perfectly and does not damage my rifle or its accessories at all. Totally recommended.

   I’ve been considering one of Magpul’s Daka cases for awhile. However, I don’t often need a hard case and the cost is pretty high….So I was thrilled when I saw this insert option, because I had an old Plano case sitting in the garage unused. This particular setup says it’s made for the Plano AW2 and I have the original Plano AW 36 inch. The dimensions of the 2 cases are the exact same and I was confident this would work…And I can confirm that it absolutely does. I did have to make a slight trim to the foam to accommodate the pressure relief valve (see photo), but the instructions state this may be needed. And the AW2 has the same valve, so I’m sure you’d be trimming the foam either way. I absolutely LOVE this concept and I am incredibly pleased. The problem with regular foam is it only fits 1 setup. After I changed the brace and optic on the specific AR the original foam was cut for, the weapon no longer fit correctly in the case. So it sat unused for the last 2+ years. I’ve seen some negative reviews for this Daka system and I do not understand that perspective. This setup can be edited and adjusted for essentially anything you can conjure up, whether it’s rifles, pistols, ammo or accessories….In the 36 inch case, I can fit a 16 inch carbine and included some pics of a couple setups, just to give an idea of what’s possible. The quality is excellent like everything else Magpul does, and the guns are locked in tight and protected. $100+ is still a steep price, but it’s much cheaper than a new case. If you don’t already have case to swap the foam out of, you’re prob better off just buying Magpul’s case that already includes the foam. Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase and I have no regrets whatsoever. I would absolutely recommend the Daka grid system to anyone that needs a hard case for their weapons.

   I don’t usually write reviews about products that do what they say, as that should be just that. Products that work. However this is game changing for gun cases or large cases that use foam. This locked down everything nice and snug and looks good doing it. It’s a lifetime purchase because it can be reconfigured to any shape needed. Quality was on point, design is innovative and cool looking. Worth every penny.
