   I recently received and installed my Magpul MOE X-22 Stock. Two days after installation, the rear sling mount snapped through normal usage. I used Magpul’s recommended sling hardware, but the sling mount is a small, weak piece of polymer. I have tried contacting them through their website three times and called their customer service. They have yet to resolve my issue, and this has been over a span of two weeks. I used to receive amazing customer service from Magpul, but that has not been the case for me this time.

   Fits like a glove and comes with the “bull” barrel insert. So no matter which barrel you have, you’re covered. No having to buy a new stock if you want to rebarrel your gun. Takes less then a minute to install. Very light and strong. Fit and finish are very good and if it’s the same quality as the mags Magul makes, it’ll last forever. I just bought a new 10/22 collector gun and didn’t want to damage the beautiful stock it came with. I have 4 10/22’s and all have aftermarket stocks on them but this one is the best by far. Excellent value for the money. As a matter of fact I’ll be replacing at least two other stocks with this one as well. You can’t go wrong with this one and it comes in 4 colors! Very happy with this purchase thanks Magpul!

Stock is lightweight but fairly rigid & looks 200% better than the factory stock. Another high-quality product from Magpul -> Highly-recommended.!!

   Seems better fit and finish than the crap wood stock Ruger puts on th 10/22 anymore. Minus 1 star for color. Got the FDE and thought it was olive at first. Looks more brown outside in the sun. Pic of stock against box it came in.

   That’s all that bothered me, I had a flat light to mount, but it was a little to long. It has a short LOP, be aware, less than factory, no curve. Super light. Feels like a “youth” gun after installation. If you’re concerned, yes you need a buttpad. Overall its just not really great. 40$, maybe. It dropped down to 53$ for grey, going to paint it anyway, I guess thats close enough, I’m just going to offset the light at 45 degrees.
