- Features Monstrum’s proprietary LPVO optics assembly with true 1x sight picture, 1-6x variable first focal plane magnification, generous eye relief, and ultra-forgiving eye box – with performance unmatched at its price point.
- Extra low Dispersion (ED) glass – more commonly found in high end camera lenses and binoculars – reducing chromatic aberration and providing superior color contrast and sharper image quality. With added anti-reflective lens coating treatment for our brightest and highest quality sight picture yet
- Easy access uncapped windage and elevation adjustments with locking turrets. Functionally designed with precise 1/2 MOA/click (MOA version) or 0.2 MIL/click (MIL version) adjustments.
- Rehauled illumination mechanism with multiple brightness intensities – offering true daylight bright reticle illumination at the highest setting
- New reticle offerings including the Morpheus MOA, Morpheus MIL, and CM8 reticle -designed for both fast target acquisition at 1x and precise ranging at longer distances. First focal plane reticles shrink and enlarge in proportion to the magnification so ranging information remains consistent across all magnifications – 1 MOA hashmark = 1 MOA regardless of magnification.

I am new to firearms, so take my review with the world’s tiniest grain of salt. This is my first rifle scope, and my experience with optics is limited to binoculars and telescopes. As far I can discern, the optic’s clarity and magnification are very good – I don’t see any aberrations, distortions, or loss of clarity. The reticle light has 6 brightness settings, and it’s very distinct, clear, and visible overlay without excessively blocking/blurring the image/target. I wondered why there was an off position in between each brightness setting, but then I realized this is for convenience – I don’t have to cycle through each brightness setting to get to your preferred level. Zooming in/out is easy yet stiff so the magnification stays securely in position once set, and I didn’t see any significant dimming or aberrations . The build quality of the scope and mount are very nice and feels very durable and the kit includes all the hardware and tools needed to install it.
Again, grain of salt. But as a beginner, I like it a lot.

Very pleased with the performance of this scope. I put it on a SW15-22 to shoot 4 position rifle match. The adjustable turrets is what sold me on this model. Changing the door is common when mo big between position and yardages. Not having to remove scope caps or use tools was a big plus. Glad is clear and seems to hold zero very well. I’ve only had it to the range a couple times and have put about 200 rounds on it. S opens in general have improved tremendously in the last decade.

This is my second Monstrum LVPO, and my first 1st focal. The build quality is great, the adjustment is easy, and the optics are crystal clear. The magnification is smooth moving, and the diopter works great.

These Monstrum scopes are made surprisingly well, and at a good value. I’ve used Monstrum mounts for optics before, and they all seem to hold up just as fine as the expensive stuff. The scopes have good clear glass, and also some neat reticles. If name brand is a little too much for you, I wouldn’t hesitate with what Monstrum puts out.

Let me get to the point: I can’t think of a single thing NOT to like about this full-featured, top quality scope. Everything about it is top shelf, from it’s large 30mm tube, 24mm objective lens, massive ocular lens, first focal plane (FFP) construction, bright and clear reticle and crystal clear image. This is the real deal.
The oversized, locking windage and elevation turrets provide super solid tactile and audible feedback. The diopter ring has plenty of adjustment for all eyes and has a good amount of resistance to minimize shifting out of focus. Reticle illumination is as bright or nearly so as my Primary Arms Gen 3 1-6 LPVO.
Other scope makers often cheap out, but this one comes with everything: snug-fitting bikini-style lens covers, a top quality offset mount with rings and a magnification throw lever.
I’ve always been impressed with Monstrum but never more so than now.

Our Morpheus MIL scope has been a solid upgrade to our rifle. The optics are clear, bright, and easy to sight in. The turrets adjust quickly and easily. This is a quality build scope that performs great for us when at the range. It fits our rifle perfectly and we have no complaints! It’s a great scope for a reasonable price.
