   Very good build, good flip to side force to overcome, clear glass and good (ish) eye relief. Installation is easy and great value for money. Works well. *Does not fit the unity riser* and the screws are not the same as most high end brands (it’s a chonky boy)

   I picked this up to make using my red dot at distance easier. The package arrived, and I was surprised to see there was no cardboard box or foam. The plastic bag had allowed the magnifier to become chipped and scratched. Installation and alignment were simple. Magnification is very nice and the glass is cleaer than I expected at this price point. The latch is sturdy and does not allow any unwanted movement. It does sit slightly higher than my Sparc ar, but after alignment it was not an issue. Eye relief has not been an issue. I had no issues at my original cheek weld location, or when adjusting the stock in when running drills. Overall a positive experience, but the poor package quality and lack of documentation should be noted.

   If you are looking through dozens of magnifiers and have multiple chooses to chose from, drop all of them and buy this one. Attached it to my AR after buying a new red dot and it fits perfectly. It’s extremely clear and very easy to instal. The best feature might be the see easy push and pull with no button pressing on the magnifier

   Recommended from social media. This product has no issue pairing with Eotech EXPS2. Clear magnifying and easy to adjust. Eye relief is good for me. The adjustment cap can be used for adjusting Eotech, too! Do not need extra tools. No loose after 400 rds 556 fire on an AR.

   UPDATE: The base went completely loose, around 700 rds 556 on an AR, and I contacted Monstrum support for a return. I sent them the defective one and never heard from them back. Feels like a scam.

   The eye relief is amazing on this thing. Let me start by saying that I’ve got holosun, vortex, Juliet, and primary arms magnifiers to compare this to. At the price point, this is probably the best one. The others have slightly better glass…maybe. So the reviews stating this thing has terrible eye relief may actually be because the person is used to being a lot closer to the magnifier. All my other more expensive magnifiers require being somewhat close to get a good eye box. This one actually REQUIRES you to be at least 2”-3” away to get a good eye box. I kept having to mount it further away to get a good picture, which I actually prefer, it was just surprising. Its eye box is great, its focal point is just further back than normal. Glad I took the chance on it. I wondered how the 4x version of this had better reviews stating it had “great eye relief”. I figured there’s no way a lower magnification of the same product would have WORSE eye relief. From about 2” – 3.5” the eye box is perfect.

   I really love Monstrous products! This Monstrum Ghost G3 3X Micro magnifier as usual turned out to be a great one and at the current price of around $100 it’s hard to beat! It is very similar to the Monstrum Ghost UltraCompakt 3X magnifier and the only difference I could see is that it’s shorter. This magnifier offers excellent value for the money. It’s well made, feels solid, elevation and windage turrets have a crisp click when adjusting. I bought the magnifier to match my Monstrum Ghost red dot sight. It’s very similarly built, turrets are the same, and turret caps are the same as well. By the way, windage and elevation turrets are too small for your fingers, and you will need a small tool (like a screwdriver). Turrets are covered by screw caps as well as protected from impact by its body profile. The screw caps can be used for turret adjustments if you turn them upside down. There are no “leashes” (or wires) that attach the turret caps to the magnifier’s body, so when they are removed for adjustment, it’s extremely easy to drop or misplace these caps. Interestingly, it’s heavier than the non-compact version of Ghost magnifier, weighing 325 grams and it feels heavy-duty and robust. Size-wise, it’s 40% shorter than the standard full-size magnifier and is perfect for short top rail setups where you don’t have much space to spare. While the magnifier perfectly matches Ghost reflex sight, it will work just fine with any other brand’s red dot as well. The optics in this magnifier are absolutely fantastic, it’s crystal clear with a very large FOV, can’t complain, it’s on par with Vortex optics’ quality. Out of the box it flips to the right side, which is my preference in my gun setup, but you can change that if you like. While swapping flip side is possible, it’s a bit complicated because the Torx screw that holds the magnifier assembly to the Picatinny mount is super tight, making it exceedingly difficult to unscrew. I suggest applying some heat to this part of the mount before trying to take it out, just don’t overdo it. Other thoughts. I also tried this magnifier with Vortex and with Sig Sauer reflex sights, and it matches the sights perfectly as well, so you can pick and choose from any other brand to use with this magnifier. Style is different though, so I usually prefer to pair red dots with a magnifier of the same brand for a perfect match. Bottom line: Yes, I would definitely recommend it to my friends at a shooting range. For anyone looking to use a 3X magnifier to upgrade their AR – put this on your radar. It is very well designed and very well made. It’s budget friendly and for the quality of its construction, I can say without any doubt that it’s worth every penny. This magnifier is by far one of the best I’ve seen in this price range. Solid 5 stars in my book. Pros: 1. Very solidly built. 2. Crystal clear optics. 3. Large field of view. 4. 40% shorter vs standard size. 5. Water and fog proof. 6. Nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed. 7. Turrets are covered with caps. 8. Turret caps can be used for adjustments. 9. Can flip right or left. — Cons — 1. Turret caps are not attached to its body. 2. Not a quick-attach type of rail mount.

   So far so good. I installed this with a Romeo5 on my AR-15 and have shot around 50 rounds with it. No issues so far. The only thing I may change is the magnifier is slightly higher than the red dot. It still functions fine but I would like them to match in height/appearance a little better. I think it is a great price for a decent magnifier. I also like that I can flip it to either side if I want to.

    Eye relief not the best but its within range of what’s stated in the description. Clear picture. Great value for money. Performs well and as expected. Flips back in place easily. Solid quality and seems like it will last. Use this with a Romeo five red dot as many other reviews say and it works perfectly. Could shot an 8” group at 100 yards the first time ever shooting the gun after it was sighted in which is great for me.
