   Safe is decent quality and will provide enough safety to keep unwanted hands off your firearm. Sets up and programs easily and offers quick access when needed. The fingerprint scanner seems accurate and offers even faster access than the keypad. Multiple mounting options offer flexible placement. Option to silence the beeping and the backup USB charger are nice touches. Recommended.

   It will not accept Finger Prints, so it can’t be used that way.
   It has lost the programming memory for the touch pad, so it doesn’t work that way.
   Unless you plug in the micro USB, the batteries will be dead in a couple days.
   It can only be used with the key, WHICH DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF QUICK ACCESS IN AN EMERGENCY.

   I’m quite happy with my safe. It’s dummy proof to mount but… some never fail to impress me. It’s very great that I can program more than one fingerprint and can program the same finger repeatedly without losing the first scan. I did my primary fingers 4 times each and using different angles each time and had my wife program her finger to it as well. Some may have a complaint about not having a spare mag place in it but it doesn’t bother me cause I don’t keep it with my gun all the time but it is close within reason and if I have to lay down some lead my aim isn’t too bad so o have confidence that I’ll land them in the right spot. 10/10 happy

   I have a collection of firearms safely secured in a safe. Wanted a single weapon storage vessel that could be mounted vertically in our master bedroom closet, this product does just that and does it well. My wife and I entered our thumb prints in minutes. Closet installation took about 45 min., once installed it’s rock solid. Opened first time and has continues to operate flawlessly. It does the job intended, keeps “little hands” off the weapon and out of sight. One negitive however, batteries don’t last long. A week max !

   I just got this thing today and the latch wasn’t always releasing. I found the door was getting stuck if it was closed more than very lightly. I put 3 layers of cut-up 3M command hook tape as shown in the picture. Now it doesn’t matter how hard I close it the door doesn’t jam and the release works 100% as it should. Patent pending. The keypad works perfect and the finger reader works as expected. It runs off AC power without batteries installed which is a huge plus.

    It’s a solid gun safe with a reliable fingerprint sensor as many say. I was even more pleasantly surprised that it has a USB-C power jack and batteries are not needed at all. They’re making mistake by not advertising this feature. It is a huge plus and hard to find with most of the other models out there.
