Extremely firm and thick lumbar support putting too much pressure on my lower back.one day later and i have a sore lower back from trying to get it to work for a few hrs but there is no way around that awful hard foam .would be nice if it was removable and came with different thicknesses and with better quality foam. Even the mystery ranch hiking pack are super comfortable. what the hell went wrong here ?
It’s a hard no for me if you want to buy this pack but I guess that why the price is so low compared to the other top brands.

Still good ole mystery ranch quality but horrible execution on the strap system with the frame to the bag itself. You have to unbuckle 6-7 straps just to get to the zipper on the bag. Can’t imagine using it on a hunt or backpacking spending a half hour getting all the straps situated so the bag isn’t loose and shifting against the frame. Terraframe line from mystery ranch packs are a lot easier to use and achieve the same goal.

This pack is so disappointing! Mystery Ranch makes great products. This isn’t one of them.
The bag has so many straps that just to get into the bag you need to remove 7 straps utilizing 3 different types of buckles. There are a total of 6 different buckle types on the bag.
The inside of the bag has no other pockets so everything is on the bottom by default. Only the lid is a separate pocket that is accessible so you end up cramming everything you can in there.
Once you use it, you can’t return it.
So disappointing in Mystery Ranch!!!
