As long as your viewing an open field this unit works! If there is a tree limb or a bush near you things are “hit or miss”. The IR light reflects of any object and if the object is close it washes out the images. So for the price they work! Just keep in mind the limitations.

Bought these for my son and he loves them. He can check out any wild animals that we have in the yard. And they are easy for him to use. Night vision work wells and imaging is clear.

We love using these to observe the wildlife near our home at night. We have a ton of coyotes and bobcats. They are very portable and easy to take camping. The battery lasts longer than other night vision goggle we have used. Image quality is solid.

I really wanted to like these binoculars-however these are not binoculars. There is a single lens and then a rear screen that you view the image through. It uses a digital zoom, so the quality is not great. I would certainly not choose to use these even over a pair of cheap binoculars. The binoculars are controlled using buttons on the body, that I found you need to press rather hard on them, and they were not very responsive.
But, where these do actually work is for the night vision – I was able to see in the dark through these as expected. I recorded a video through the binoculars showing the detail that you get. The video starts by showing how dark it is, and then I switch through the 3 levels of brightness.
While the night vision does work, I don’t think I would ever choose to take these with me on my travels, unless I was certain I would be needing the night vision functionality – otherwise any binoculars would be better than these during daylight.

Works great, a lot better than I thought. You can see very far with these, also can take picture and record. Would definitely buy again. Would make a great present for all ages. Anybody that is an outdoors person will like. My dad 56 years old and I got him a pair. He’s very country and usually doesn’t care for stuff like this but I have to say he likes them also.
