This was a gift for an avid hunter who was really excited about it’s capabilities and immediately walked outside to use it.

I purchased this rangefinder for hunting. It’s very accurate and durable. Very easy to use.

I purchased this to use for target shooting with a compound bow. Targets are 20-50 yards. After setting it up for first target I used it to measure the distance to a target that is a known distance of 20 yards. Examples of the measurements returned are as follows: 1054 yards, 756 yards, 147 yards, 965 yards. After repeated attempts to gain accurate or consistent measurements, I assumed the item was defective and returned it to ngclab.com with a request for a replacement. ngclab.com was great and the replacement came within a few days. The replacement is no better than the original. I have taken it out on target shoots 5 times, attempting to get good measurements without success. This one also goes back to ngclab.com for a refund. I will be purchasing another brand of rangefinder from ngclab.com.
In fairness to Nikon, I worked as a professional photographer and used Nikon cameras and lenses for many years. Their products are outstanding. My experience with this rangefinder is not typical for Nikon products.

I’ve purchased this product and had to have it sent back. When ranging, the range finder constantly displays multiple ranges between 1033 yards down to 3 yards. When aim at known distances, it constantly goes back and forth between several hundred separate yards while point at just 20 or 30. I had the product sent back and received a new one. The second one sent to me is doing the exact same thing. Not sure if seller is sending refurbished range finders or what but I won’t be buying another.

I returned the first one of these I purchased because it was very defective. The second one was somewhat defective but not as bad. Will sometimes show random ranges ranging from 100-1050 yards. Tried cleaning the glass with a lense cloth and playing with the settings and nothing helped. Only use it for archery for ranges under 100 yards and it would often say trees were 500-1000 yards away. Annoying
