After talking my cousin into actually testing it on me We found out it worked! The 7.62×39 knocked it off my head and my nose was bleeding but it’s the real deal! Will buy again! 😁

This helmet is cool its metal bur offers no ballistic protection whatsoever!
anyone tells you this they’re not telling the truth

Wasn’t what I thought. Was looking for biker helmets. Makes a real good heavy duty hard hat. Don’t know if it has a tac armor rating but sure it protects from low velocity projectiles.

The quality of the helmet shell is pretty nice – no rough edges and fairly lightweight.
The rigging is another story. There is very little adjustment to the straps, and the buckle for the chin strap, while thick, is made of very cheap ABS. The webbing for the head is slightly adjustable, and is partly reminiscent of old Soviet style webbing, so you tighten the the paracords to adjust the height on your head. You can also adjust the tightness of the crown by tightening a nylon strap on the inside. I did not have to do any adjustments for mine, and it sits comfortably on my head.
The helmet could be improved by getting rid of this old style of adjustments by including a ratchet strap system like on current combat or work helmets, as the lesser quality of the helmet buckle will cause it to fail eventually. With a ratchet strap, you can adjust the tightness so it stays on your head until you can repair the strap.
