   Seems very quality and doesn’t need batteries to remember the input code for unlock. I put in an 8digit and left it unplugged after and was able to plug in and use the code. I haven’t done fingerprint set up yet but that’s coming soon!

   Has all the features I was looking for it has the buttons instead of a key it has biometrics but I have problems with diabetes so sometimes my fingerprint won’t work easy to use it has batteries in it it also has a USB port to keep it alive as well works great for me love all the features that it has. It also has a display for temperature, humidity, battery life display ( If you only use the battery, not the USBC connecter), and whether it is locked or unlocked. The lock-down cable that came with the box was different from the one shown in their advertisement it has a loop instead of the metal connector. I have tried the loop lock-down cable and it keeps coming out of the slot for the cable, nothing there to look it into the slot, plus it takes up additional space in the box

   I love these safes! I bought one for my daughter, she has young kids and guns. I keep one of these safes tied to the frame of my car seat in case I need to leave my piece in the car. I also have one tied to some framing in my kitchen pantry near the front door where a pistol lives, and another safe tied to my bed frame with the provided cable. The finger print opening feature is quick and sure.

   omg this app just ate my review so tl;dr: – the sensor isn’t as good as touch ID, so use the plentiful slots and register right/left index and thumbs 2-3 times – set 30d all day event to check batteries – fits a byrna, two mags, and some questionable knives i would buy again, i keep mine in a dresser drawer or under my bed in the the main bedroom of my primary residence, and probably should get a second one. back when i had guns in the house i had an antique version of this vault, the batteries could fall out when the door popped open, it was hilariously bad. this is like revolutionary in terms of advancement. i haven’t tested rechargeable batteries yet, but the mechanism is lightweight enough and this thing wants to be open. i expect a set of alkaline batteries will last over a year with frequent use, but time will tell.

   I have a gun safe in my bedroom closet which is upstairs, so I bought this for the kitchen counter, as I always bring my gun in from the truck when I’ve been out. It serves two purposes. One, I don’t have to run up and down the stairs every time I want to go out. Two, it’s right handy in case we get our door kicked in while were watching tv or such any time of day. I used to just leave my gun on the counter, but I have a special needs son. He knows not to touch my firearms, and really has never shown an interest in doing so, but I felt like a pretty irresponsible gun owner, leaving him access to it. I feel much better now. My upstairs safe doesn’t have a biometric pad, so I’m thinking I’ll buy another of these for the bedside. You have to make sure your finger is centered and even from left to right sides or it will malfunction. It resets very quickly for another attempt, but in an emergency, the four digit code can be entered on the large pads in about one second.

   Appears sturdy with three-way entry options; fingerprint, digital combination and key. Will hold an unloaded pistol and one magazine (don’t know about two pistols, perhaps if both are loaded). The fingerprint option can be occasionally persnickety, but all-in-all the box works well.

    The safe is made out of heavy duty steel for the application. I will be testing it on my vehicle today.
    One or two midsize to subcompact guns will fit tightly. There is no space to keep a holster together with one gun in the safe.
    It is heavy, but I see that as a plus.
    I have not tested the safe to see if it can be opened with a craw bar or screw driver.
    Overall it seems to be an ok small safe to keep a handgun. I do recommend it!
