These targets work great – with positive feedback on a hit with audible and visual cues (pinging and falling back). Having the target auto reset is also great. Be aware that the paint will obviously be shot off and pay attention to the picture in the advertisement per the stakes. Nothing advanced or super robust to secure these things in the ground. Make sure the grass is trimmed if paced in a grassy area!

I was surprised to find that these can be used with 22lr ammunition with no gouging of the steel plate. I initially fired 50rds of CCI Blazer and the target performed well enough to let others have a few shots over an afternoon. I did find that if shots are concentrated below the center of the target, it will bend forwards slightly, however if shots are grouped above the center line, the target will flatten again.

I used this pop-up target at both 50 and 75 yards with my 22lr. It works well if the target is hit above center mass. The target falls backwards and immediately pops up. The impacts do move the base and after several hits, the spikes come loose. I haven’t worked with it often enough to come up with a solution to the spikes becoming loose yet. One of my shooting buddies liked the target so well he ordered one for himself. I guess that should tell you something.

Great pop-up targets for the price. I bought one a while ago and found just mounting to the ground with the provided stakes doesn’t always cut it. So mounted it to a 4×4. This worked so well, bought two more to mount on the 4×4. How I have three for some fun shooting. These are made solid enough for a .22lr, .17HMR and I’ve hit them with a .223 (though at over a 100 yards!)…nothing has “hurt” them yet. Highly recommend these for those that enjoy plunking at a target that actually gives a sound and sight feed-back!

Works as instructed! The ricochet of the price tile will remove the paint but works as stated!

Awesome piece for the money… have shot it with a pellet air rifle and .22lr. It has worked as intended so far, only complaint is that i has bent just after 100 rounds of 22lr… Still works great and would buy another one but just keep it in mind… Paint will go away quick but that’s not an issue either. All around great target for the money….

Great resetting target,100 yard 22 hv & sv only removed the paint.
After another range visit,i punished it with 300 rnds and the pics show the result.
needs a slight bow removed and a new paint job but that’s about it.

Pros – it’s a target, stakes work well on hard ground, but are thin and probably won’t hold in soft ground. It pops up smartly when hit.
Good size for beginning shooter at 25 yards – easy to hit, active ping gives positive feedback and early success helps build confidence and interest.
Cons – target deforms easily. I’ve only shot it with 22lr at a minimum of 25 yards and it has developed a definite arc like in some of the posted pictures. Unclear as to how long it will last, and I strongly believe a steel target should be able to shrug off a hit from its designated caliber. This isn’t sold as an airgun target, hence the 3 stars.
I don’t consider the paint wear an issue. It’s just what steel targets do, and those of us who shoot them regularly know you need to keep a can of spray paint around to renew it.
