Billy S Verified Buyer –
Aimpoint makes great optics but I really hated the locking knob mount that came with my Comp M4 and wanted something better. I looked around and found the LEAP mount by Scalarworks.
The LEAP is pretty light and it uses click dial instead of the tab. Installation is easy, simply remove the original mount and screw this one on. With the original mount the optics weights about 13oz but after installing the LEAP it went down to about 11.8oz. That one oz might seem much but it makes some difference for me.
Overall pretty happy with it. Price is kind of high though but it’s one of the best aftermarket mount you can buy for your CompM4/Pro.
