Good sight overall but the finish is weak. You will need long torx bits for whatever tool you are using to torque the screws because the screws are very close to the frame of the lens. I used my wheeler torque wrench and rubbed the housing and damaged the finish. Also use something plastic for the battery cap. Even plastic over a metal screw driver will damage the finish. It would be nice if this had an automatic brightness adjustment. It does allow a good view of the sights one a Springfield Hellcat RDP. I chose the circle dot reticle which allow selecting dot only, circle only and circle dot combo.

I purchased this unit brand new, once I got it in the mail I put the battery in and I worked for a few hrs, then it wouldn’t turn on again. I had to send it back to Sig because this seller won’t accept refunds, they make you deal with their defected item’s. Instead of dealing with this seller, just by directly from sig.

Works Great! Mine does not seem to have the battery issues that others have had. The adjustments are crisp and tactile, and the glass is clear. I started with the open emitter version, but after a day of mowing a property, I decided the enclosed would be better. The open is hard to clean the glass. There is no worries with this one.
If you are on the fence, get the enclosed. It is just slightly longer but you can’t tell. It is worth the extra money for the cleanliness and ease of maintenance.
