   Worked fantastic for putting new sights on my Smith and Wesson M&P9. It held slide solid in place and the lines inside the clamp helped me line everything up so it was not skewed. I know a lot of people like putting some kind of dampener between the clamps and the pistol, but I didn’t and did not have any scratching. This will only get occasional use for me but it looks like something a professional gunsmith would have, and works much better than the other design I was using. Everything turns/slides smoothly just as it should without excessive slack and I especially like that when I went a tad too far, i could just spin the thing the other way and get it just right without having to take it all back apart to set it up to push the other way. My previous design I could not do that which was a real pain. I no longer dread swapping out sights.

   This sight pusher is comparable to more expensive sight pushers. The tool is made of heavy duty, durable aluminum and steel. The moving parts, move smooth and easily without force. The pusher does not come with instructions, so if you are not familiar with how it works look for a how to video for help. I was able to easily use the pusher to change out the sights on an MP. I did use the video I found to make sure that I didn’t do damage to the tool or my gun. I am very happy with the tool and how it works, was just a little concerned when I received it without instructions. this tool was a good price for what you use it for.

   I had a different style pusher that I used and it worked but I had issues when trying to do the front sights. I had to use some shims to push off and on front sights but that wasn’t an issue with this fixture. The only issue I had was initially breaking loose my sights on my Springfield XD (but those are notoriously tight). As others have stated in their reviews, this is a clone of another popular brand at about half the price. I really like this item and I recommend it.

   I am a hobbyist shooter and I have rudimentary gunsmithing skills. I know enough to be able to change out sights on a handgun, so I decided to give this device a try. As Sight Pusher tools go, this would be in the midrange. You can cheaper ones, and the more expensive professional versions require a particular “shoe” that mates with the slide to prevent the slide from rising up from the channel so to speak during the sight change due to torque. This one is universal and just holds the slide down via downward pressure. This particular device is a clone of a name-brand pusher from a company whose name starts with “W”, thus the name “Wednbr.” The name-brand version is a bit more than twice the price of this one. I have never used the name-brand version, so I can’t opine about the difference. I did watch a video or two demonstrating the more expensive version, and this one seems to be an exact clone, right down to the color. I pushed out a rear sight on a Glock 22 slide, and this one worked just fine. It appears well manufactured, there are no sharp edges, and it is otherwise well-machined, heavy and robust. Like the version this clone is based upon, there are indentations at the bottom to place the device in a vice if so desired. Based on my decades of non-professional contact with tools in general, this pusher seems just fine for hobbyist use, and I am skeptical that the name-brand version is double the price better for hobbyist use. If I was a gunsmith I probably would step up to the next quality tier of this type of device for professional use. For a hobbyist, I don’t know that it is worth it to pay double for the name brand version for occasional hobby use, and I would recommend going with this version.
