   After reading the mixed review I had low expectations. The kit was all together, no items broke or missing, even had a few spare pieces of hardware. The boards are solid but a little thin, the screws seemed a little undersized. I had it assembled in about 45 minutes or less, I glued the pieces as I went. It’s a great item for the money, not disappointed.

   While this is well made and easy to put together it is by far to small (short) to hold even the most basic of rifle. My AR-15 will not fit between the rack on top nor butt up into the slot on the bottom. Any rifle with a scope you can just forget about. Next time I will definitely measure first!

   Good quality for the price. Assembly is simple. Guns fit well. Put guns with scopes in backwards. Works well.

   This rack is hard to beat for the price. Unless you have a lot of scrap lumber and tools, the material cost would be more. Assembly was easy and everything fit well. I used wood glue along with the screws to make it more sturdy, but that might not be necessary. Test fit before gluing. It is fine for what it is and holds my rifles well.

   Product arrived damaged see picture. Poor packing allowed the pieces to slide in the box with no protection from sliding end to end. The material used is scrap lumber that has been finger-jointed together to make a board then planed down to less than 1/2”. I DO NOT recommend this product and doubt that I will get any adjustment for the defective product that I received.

   

7. Nice looking gun rack easy to assemble Verified Buyer – 19 March 2025

   I very much like the design of the gun rack. The wood is thin but seems sturdy. The screws were rattling around loose in the box and was missing a few. Was pretty easy to assemble despite very little instructions with no pictures. I added four pieces of 1″x4″ wood trimmed down to 1/2″ thickness to match the existing wood to the back to strengthen the gun rack to my satisfaction. And I stained it with Minwax Gunstock #231 which I preferred to just the plain wood look. Overall pleased with how the gun rack came together especially after my additions.
