   Takes nice clear pictures/videos but I have to keep replacing the batteries because the solar panel is not working. It is frustrating and I am going through a lot of batteries. I have it in a sunny spot but the solar panel will not collect the energy from the sun.

   I am very happy with that trail camera I bought. I am using it to observe wildlife. It was very easy to setup. You can connect remotely record the stream and take pictures from your phone while being connected to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth which is very convenient. There is a motion sensor option that works great. The image quality is up to 8K which is fantastic.
   It does not need power source as it is powered by the solar panel which is great if you don’t have access to power. You also have the option to power it through USB using cable provided which is about 10ft long. Another option is to use 8 double A batteries if you don’t want to use solar Camera also can be run with AA batteries so you don’t have to install the solar panel. Very good quality and at a reasonable price!

   This game camera is great! In fact, I ordered one several months ago and this is my second one. Adding multiple cameras via the app is simple and intuitive. The pictures are impressive and you have lots of options for image quality, capturing sound or even creating videos. All settings can be adjusted via the cell phone after the initial link is established through the app to the camera. Connection is extremely simple and the interface is great. There are many features I really like: The ease of connecting the unit to my cell phone through the free app. Being able to drive or walk up within 20 – 30 feet of the camera and wirelessly retrieve the data is super nice. I download the images to my phone, then delete them from the camera and then I don’t have to revisit them each time. The solar pack with power bank works well and it is not necessary to install batteries to run the camera. I put batteries in mine for backup purposes in case the sun doesn’t shine for a while. These cameras can be operated for a long time without constantly changing batteries and that is a huge plus. I haven’t put new batteries in my original unit and it has been up for months. Additional storage media can be added to the camera and everything just works flawlessly. No service contracts or other fees needed! Cons: The only issue I have experienced with the cameras is that the power jack from the solar panel needs to really be pushed securely into place. If not, it can slip out with the slightest jiggle. Once I firmly seat the adapter, no issues whatsoever. This is not a problem for me but wanted to mention it. I am very pleased with both units and will add more to my collection. This is by far the best and easiest game camera I have ever owned or operated.

   Camera was not in service for 30 days before it developed water leaks in the battery compartment and inside the sealed lens. The latter caused blurry pictures and cannot be . Provided pictures of both issues. The camera is advertised as WIFI enabled. Although this is misleading it is not uncommon. You cannot set it up on your house WiFi. Instead it works just like a GoPro where you connect to it via your phone’s WiFi from within the “TrailCam Go” app to view/download photos and manage camera settings. Instructions for the app are in the enclosed booklet but you may need a magnifying glass to read it. Basically, you must be within Bluetooth range to connect to the camera which is no more than about 25 feet. Frankly, if you have to walk out to where ever you have it set up, it would be easier to just buy an 2nd camera card and swap them every so many days and view the photos inside on your desktop vs standing out there in the cold to go through possibly hundreds of photos. Unfortunately, it seems like all the trail cameras are like this. It takes 8-AA batteries. Battery life seemed good otherwise but what good is an outdoor camera that leaks? Camera was in the woods which rendered the solar panel useless so can’t comment on that.
