This is probably the second or third Spartan-branded camera that I’ve used/owned. I’ve never used one with a cellular data connection, though; most of my experiences have been with my mom taking the SD card out so we could look at it, so this is a little different and neat. It’s a $10 cell charge to operate it, which isn’t that bad…I would be more positive if it was like $4.99, considering the unit itself is about $160 (but that’s just me being cheap). Plus, I only use it to watch nature, so it’s kind of like nice to have, not a need to have.

This trail camera works great to keep an eye on my property when I’m away…uses cellular, which means I get a signal 24/7, but it does have monthly cost which sucks. Peace of mind is worth a few bucks a month, especially for a remote recreational property. It has a clear image and day/night capability, memory card…I wish it was rechargeable instead of AA.
