I have 2 different brands of game camera. One is Spypoint and the other is.. well, I won’t mention the name but it’s a very prominent game camera company who manages to covertly operate in the same way as Spypoint. For the other company, I have a plan and the cameras seem to do a fine job but both of the 2 cameras I have have been replaced multiple times by the company. They also have to have the batteries recharged about once every few weeks to a month. Now this Spypoint camera is altogether different. It’s literally set it and forget it. I can set it up and never have to fix anything. No charging batteries or anything. It simply works. And it takes great pictures too.

Too tier cellular camera. This has been a top company among several competitors. This newly released FLEX-DARK twin pack comes as a very good value and stands out in a few categories. Picture quality is fantastic and the SD card photos are amazing!! The pictures were sent quickly to my phone and I love that this camera will automatically grab the best cell service aviation the area you place it- this is extra special compared to others. 1080p video and 40MP camera. The flexible antenna is an upgrade, .03 trigger speed and 100 foot flash range is excellent! You can request HD quality video and photos to your phone. Use an optional LIT-22 or 8 AA batteries to extend battery life even longer. There are a lot of upgrades on this latest version of SPYPOINT!

These two cameras are a good value if you have reliable cell service. You get one hundred free photos a month. Quality is unexceptional and if you are serious you might want to invest in one of the reasonably priced subscription plans. You need to provide lithium batteries and cable or aa batteries and a memory card. The app is okay. It was a fairly easy install. It is motion activated. It can capture sound and make videos. I was annoyed by needing to get all the extras. My biggest obstacle is u reliable cell signal, which is not a reflection on the camera.

For the novice trail cam buyer, you need to know what your buying. These cameras offer 100 free photos per month, but they will be of low quality. You have to buy a subscription plan if you want high quality photos, and you have to pay even more if you want videos.
This charge is not unique to these cellular trail cams. But these are among the cheapest subscriptions available. I’m including pictures of the data plans.
As far as the trail cam quality, they appear very high quality. However, I won’t be using them until we get closer to deer hunting season ( this review is April 2025, and hunting season starts in October).
I didn’t realize that this pack includes TWO cameras! That’s a really nice bonus at this price! I can’t wait to check them out this fall.

I’m really iffy on this product as of now. It says it has a built in SD card but you must also provide and install one or this camera won’t work. The initial instructions do not explain the step on how to format the card either-I had to google that. If you use batteries it takes 8 AA. There’s a port for aux power supply but no cord included and I didn’t want to try and figure out the jack size-more info not included. This model also isn’t immediately listed on the set up page, you have to pick the other cameras option then scroll to find it. It took a bit to set up. It says to wave a hand in front to test if it’s taking photos but there’s a significant delay so you can’t tell it’s taken a photo for several minutes. Don’t be like me and keep trying because you only get 100 free photos a month and I used 18!! of them trying to set it up. Picture quality is ok, not great but from other trail cam photos I’ve seen it seems about the same. It’s not taking any night photos for some reason. I’d go test it but then I’ll be out of free photos. The battery life seems ok so far, I used pretty good quality batteries that were expensive.
