   I set this up along a small game trail so that I could monitor wildlife movement without having to step into the area myself. The night vision images are exceptionally clear. The camera picked up details instead of just indistinguishable and pixelated gibberish.

   There has been a very quick turnaround of notifications, faster than many other systems I have tried. There is also solar charging, and I have not lost battery life yet. I started at 100%, and it has not once dipped from that. I mention this because I had another trial camera before, and the solar panel on that gave me so many issues. It would never consistently hold a charge despite being left in very sunny conditions. So far, it’s dependable, and the image quality is great.

   I love this design. Setup was simple and it worked within minutes of having it out of the box. This is a perfect solution if it will work on our property which is only covered by US Cellular. I tested it at home where we have most carriers, and it was seamless. It may be months before we get out to our property in the middle of nowhere and I’ll update the review when I do but for now, I would have appreciated a listing of carriers supported which the manufacture didn’t provide but if you have standard cell coverage where you place it, I imagine it will work as advertised.

   I have a friend who has been using Spypoint cameras for quite awhile and swears by them. After using this for a bit, I absolutely see why!! This is an awesome trail cam. It has been up and running for a couple weeks and the battery is still at 100% charge. The built in solar makes it sooo nice and I doubt I will ever need to pull it and charge it. The “no service plan required” feature is really cool as well. With the app on my phone I get notifications every time a photo is taken and they show up right in the app. I can check status, view photos and change settings right from my phone from anywhere. 100 photos are free delivered to your phone every month and you can opt to purchase more if you want. If you go over the 100, you can still get the pix directly from the camera sd card if you want to. The photos are really good day or night(see attached pix) and the range is great. It picks up movement out to at least 50 yards, could be further, but thats as far as i’ve seen any yet. I have nothing but great things to say about this camera. I have about 15 other cameras in various brands, some very expensive ones. I dont think i’ll ever buy a different brand of camera, I’m hooked.

   Right away I became impressed with this version of the Flex-S – it’s upgraded from 720 to 1080 and takes 40 megapixel pictures. The solar charger is nice but the lithium batteries are not going to go dull any time soon, either. Super easy to set up but it takes a minute to get everything paired to your carrier if you want to be able to access the photos. remotely.

   The camera is rugged without being absurdly clunky and is easy to figure out. Can’t wait to set this up on some game trails (where/when legal) but so far it’s just captured a racoon family on my fence in the middle of the night.

   This is a really excellent trail cam that has dramatically exceeded my expectations! The solar panel keeps the battery charged all the time, the image quality is very good for a camera at this price point, and the camera is well built – I expect it to be very durable over time. Can’t beat it!

   I have 2 different brands of game camera. One is Spypoint and the other is.. well, I won’t mention the name but it’s a very prominent game camera company who manages to covertly operate in the same way as Spypoint. For the other company, I have a plan and the cameras seem to do a fine job but both of the 2 cameras I have have been replaced multiple times by the company. They also have to have the batteries recharged about once every few weeks to a month. Now this Spypoint camera is altogether different. It’s literally set it and forget it. I can set it up and never have to fix anything. No charging batteries or anything. It simply works. And it takes great pictures too.
