Surprised with the build quality. I do not have a real deal 34A but I do have a real deal fat strap and besides the buckles I cannot tell the difference.
Have yet to see it under NOD’S but have seen the RG under NOD’S and it looked all right (I got CB)
only real complaint are the buckles. I do not feel confident they would hold up under cold temps (-30 to -40) but those can be replaced.
Interior mag cells work all thought they are hard to use when wearing a flak vest.
All and all, I’d recommend it.

I really like this item as a chest rig. Rides higher than normal, which is what I was looking for, so I have plenty of room for my belt and its affixed items. Has plenty of adjustment for all sizes. Harness fabric does seem a little thin, and only time will tell if it holds up under pressure. The three pockets on each side are not equal in size. It seems that the rear two (on each side which rap around your sides) are a little wider than the forward-most one. (nearest your belly button). The wider ones fit a rifle magazine very snug, and the narrower one will not fit at all…so perhaps use the narrow one for other items (knife, light, etc).
