   This gunslinger western style gun belt is an excellent choice for the casual user. If you are a actor or stunt person who needs to wear this every day, then you should look elsewhere, but if you will only wear this a few times a season, then it will be just fine. The belt fit me great, and I’m somewhere between a 34 to a 36 with a low riding gun belt. I adjusted it and set up the leg wrap so it doesn’t pull up when you draw. There was plenty of cord, and it is plenty strong, and presents no issues. The only issue I had with the belt was the part where two belts were sewn together, using a cross-hatch pattern on both sides. This join is what will fail first on this belt, but it is something that you can repair when it does. The leather is great quality for the price, thought it will show nicks and scratches pretty easily. I used the holster for that it is designed for: quick draw of a six-shooter. I used two different pistols, one with a four inch barrel, and another with a six inch barrel, and both worked fine, and sat well within the holster. One issue, is that the six inch barrel pistol has raised adjustable sights, and these sights cut into the leather during re-insertion into the holster, and scrape a bit on draw. I included photos of the results of one hundred quick draws, and what it has done to the leather of the holster at the point where the sight rubs against the edge. You can clearly see the leather becoming gouged, so I imagine with another 1,000 draws, it will have notch cut out at that spot. Something to be aware of, but I won’t take a star because at the time of ordering, this pistol belt was under $80. What a bargain! Five Star Budge Priced Low Riding Western Style Pistol Rig
