I have tried several of these similar cameras going back several years and nothing has changed. They are using the same clunky and dated tech. This is your bare minimum trail cam. It functions but it feels like something from a decade ago. The app takes a lot of getting used to. Uses 8 AA batteries and we will see how much use I get out of these and update. The quality of the images are sufficient to know what you are watching and the night vision worked pretty well also. The motion detection seemed a little hit and miss occasionally. I don’t have a lot of long term faith but we will see.

This trail camera worked well during this year’s deer season. I found this camera to be comparable to other similar cameras from name brands. The camera was easy to mount and set up. The box included everything I needed except the batteries. An SD card was also included along with mounting hardware and a tree strap. The camera takes good pictures in darkness as well as in daylight. At the $70 price point, the camera is a bit more expensive than similar models with the same features. Thus, I rate this trail camera 4 out of 5.
